Two Foiled Backgrounds From One Foil Sheet!

Welcome back!  Lisa here and I've got some Deco Foil fun today using the new Bubbly Stencil and Rainbow Deco Foil!

I started by applying some Deco Foil Transfer Gel through the bubbly Stencil onto a white cardstock panel.  Once it was dry, I laid a sheet of rainbow foil over the top and ran it through my Minc.  I love that when you use foil on a background like this you are left with a cool negative space.  I always save them because all you need is some Toner Sheets and you can lay the negative space sheet over it and run it through the Minc and it's a whole different look!

Here are my two panes I was left with.  I layered the original onto a white base and the negative panel onto a black base.

I cut the circles from the Pinked Slimline Dies from white glitter paper and layered them over the front of the lighter base to serve as the background for my sentiment.  I cut that using the Celebrate word die from the Hooray Fri-Dies once from foil cardstock and twice more from white cardstock and stacked them together and added them over the glitter circles.  Finally I added a sentiment from the Sassy Celebration Stamp Set on a strip at the bottom of the card.

I used the same basic layout for my black base but using black glossy cardstock for the circles and that cute sentiment from Whole Shebang.  A few sequins finished them up.

Thanks so much for stopping!  Hope you enjoyed it and you'll come again soon.  Should you see anything you need to have in the shop I have this for you:

I added some Water Splatters and then added some Black Soot Distress Paint Splatters!! Then I used an Ink Dauber to apply some of the WoW Embossing Ink over the Bold Flower Stencil!! I did two of the Flowers in the NEW Cupcake Heaven Embossing Glitter and two of the Flowers in the NEW Sugared Almond Embossing Glitter!! Then I Inked the center of the Flowers and applied the NEW Tangerine Dream Embossing Glitter!! I LOVE the way these colors compliment each other!!
Then I Stamped and Embossed the Happy Birthday Sentiment from the Happy Birthday Stamp Set!!
I inked with Versa Fine Black Onyx Ink and then Embossed with WoW Black Puff Embossing Powder!! This is such a NEAT Powder and works AWESOME with those BOLD sentiments!!

Then I added it to a TE Lavender Glaze Card Panel and adhered it to a Cardbase!! I added a few Pearls to the center of the Flowers and my Card was done!!

Birthday Card with Maria

I hope everyone's doing well!  Maria here on the blog with you with a funny birthday card, showcasing the Happy Birthday and Mon Amie stamp sets.

In honor of Michele's son, who turned 21 yesterday the 21% off sale continues today until 6 pm (mountain time) only.  You can also use my coupon code below for an additional 15% off so that's HUGE!  Hurry up and order your favorites now!

I started by ink-blending an A2 size panel of Bristol smooth white card stock with some distress oxide inks.  I waited for about half an hour for this card panel to dry.

I used my stamping tool and stamped the flower image and the sentiment with Versamark ink.  I sprinkled some white embossing powder and heat-set with my heating tool.

I used my white color pencil and Sakura white gel pen to add more texture and details to the flower.

I finished my design by die-cutting the circle Happy Birthday sentiment using a die from my stash and adhered it on the card.

Isn't that sentiment so funny?  I must have done that a couple of times already while I was driving my car, haha!

Don't forget to use my coupon code below for 15% off your order.  You can use this coupon on top of the sale.  Thanks for stopping by and happy stamping!

A Multi-Medium Birthday Card

Hello there!  Lisa here!  If you like to play with different mediums this is the card for you! I I came across the Bubble Box layer with green and gold Alcohol Inks on it in my stash.  I had made it for a different project, but it wasn't right for that one.  Turns out it was perfect for this one and it set the tone for the rest of the card!

I used the Jacks stencil to blended some greens through it onto a white cardstock layer and then because my alcohol ink layer had gold in it I decided to add some Inka Gold randomly before removing the stencil.  Mine was dried up so when I use it I just add a little water to it and apply it with a sponge.  After that dried, I layered that onto my white base, then a vellum Bubble Box and then popped up the Alcohol Ink layer.

Finally I stamped the Happy Birthday in the same greens I used on the background and then without moving the stamped image in my Misti, I dabbed on some Ranger embossing ink that comes in a bottle with a dauber tip to the stamp set, stamped it over the ink stamped image and then used clear embossing powder over the top.  I got a kind of textured embossed look which I decided I liked because it kind of makes the  sentiment sparkle!  And then I cut it out and popped it up over the top.  I just added a few sequins and I was done!

That's me for today!  I hope you enjoyed your visit and you'll come back again soon for some more CAS-ual Fridays Stamps inspiration!

Happy Birthday Card FULL of Texture & Sparkle!!

Hello Crafty Friends!!
Larissa here today and I've got a STUNNING Birthday Card FULL of Texture and Sparkle!! I LOVE being able to combine products and this design shows just how you can combine several for a very BEAUTIFUL Design!!
I started by creating my background!! I LOVE that stencils can add interest, without distracting away from the Images!!  I added some Chipped Sapphire and Black Soot Distress Inks!! For some Shimmer, I added some Opalescent watercolor splatter along with some Wilted Violet and Turquoise Watercolor that I added Opalescent Watercolor too!! Its HARD to see in the photos, but in real life its SO BEAUTIFUL!! I think the BOLD background  REALLY makes the Flowers POP!! They are front and center!!
After inking and adding the splatters, I used the Modern Petals Stencil that I sprayed the back with some Pixie Spray from Therm O Web to help hold it in place as I stenciled the design with some White Pigment Ink using an Ink Dauber!! I wanted a subtle Design so I applied the ink very light and I really LOVE the soft Blue hue that was left behind!!
For the Flowers I Stamped and Embossed the Images from the Pretty Posies and Peace & Comfort Stamp Sets!! I used WoW Glitter Embossing Powders!! Using different Colors for all of the different Images so they'd all have their own Color!! Then I used the coordinating Posies Fri-Dies and the Garden Fri Dies to cut them out!! I colored the Images with Copic Markers (Flowers: V1, V04 & V09  RV00, RV09 & RV19  Leaves: G00 & G02   YG11 & YG13   Flower Centers: YR00 & YR02) I added some Tonic Studios Morning Dew to the Centers for some dimension!! I used iCraft 3-D Foam Squares to adhere the Flowers and Leaves to my Card Panel around the Circle Die Cut I Stamped and Embossed the Sentiment on!! I used the NEW Happy Birthday Stamp Set in Navy Metallic Embossing Powder!! To finish off my design, I added a few Studio Katia Iridescent Crystals!! I really LOVE the way it turned out and I hope I've INSPIRED you to try mixing several of your Products together to create a Card FULL of Texture and Sparkle too!!

A Masculine Happy Birthday Card

Hello everyone!!

It is Nora here from A Creative Touch with a masculine themed birthday card using the Jacks Stencil, the new Happy Birthday stamp set and a sprinkle of stars using the Fun-Fetti Fri-dies.

I don't know about you but I have a heck of a time creating birthday cards with a masculine flair. For this card, I chose to use a technique using the Jacks Stencil with Indigo Color Burst. I thought the colors would be perfect for a masculine card.

I started off by putting Color Burst over my stencil and then liberally spritzing with water. I then took watercolor paper and placed it down on top of the stencil. When I lifted it up, I got this really cool pattern. I was actually able to dip two more watercolor papers onto the wet stencil to make THREE backgrounds.

When my panel dried, I stamped Happy Birthday with Versamark ink and heat embossed over it with silver. I actually had to heat emboss the sentiment twice because even under the opaque silver powder, you could see the rich blue underneath after only one pass.

I cut down the panel and layered it over a shiny piece of blue and silver cardstock. I then sprinkled silver star die cuts using the Fun-Fetti Fri-dies as an additional element to draw your eye through
the card.

I love how this turned out and cannot wait to send it to my nephew who has turned twenty one
 this week!

I hope you like this project. Please don't forget to use my code NORASENTME to get an extra 15% off your entire shopping order!!!
