Thanks for Making Me Smile

Welcome back!  Ever have a friend that can always make you smile?  I'm sharing this card that I made for one of those!

I started with a gel print I created using the Chunky Chevron Stencil that I foiled with a used piece of Teal Deco Foil.  I added the flower from Mon Ami which is not available! So sorry, but we do have the awesome Flower Duo that you could easily substitute!

I added a sentiment using the Sassy Smiles Duo!

That's me for today!  Hope you enjoyed it!  And we have a sale going!

Thanks so much for stopping!  Come again soon!

Happy Birthday-Foiled

Welcome back!  Today I'm sharing a card using the Mon Ami stamps and dies along with the Happy Birthday dies.  I created the background using some Yupo paper and alcohol inks and then used the Chunky Chevron stencil and some Deco Foil Transfer Gel Duo and Gold Deco Foil over the top.

The Transfer Gel Duo stays a little sticky so you can use it with foil without heat.  I like to let it sit for a whole day so it's only slightly sticky and the foil transfer isn't solid.

I cut the Happy Birthday dies from some foiled gel print and then cut it twice more from cardstock and stacked them for dimension.

Then I added the stamped images to the front with foam tape and just a few sequins.

Thanks so much for stopping!  Come again soon for more CAS-ual Fridays inspiration!

Clean and Simple Birthday Card

Hello everyone, it's Michelle here with a CAS Birthday card for you.
It's no secret I like making Clean and Simple cards, mostly because they are relatively quick to make but also because they are pleasing to my eye.

I started by stamping the sentiment from Shenanigans with some Versafine Black ink.  Then I stamped one of the flowers from the Mon Ami set and colored it in with Copics.  I die cut it using the
Mon Ami Fleur Dies and popped it up with some foam tape.  I added some dots to the petals with a white gel pen.

Thanks so much for stopping by and if you are interested in purchasing any of the products   I've used today or anything else, you can click the "let's go shopping" link below to take you over to the shop!

A Fresh Gel Print Using the Falling Leaves Stencil

Welcome back!  I've got another gel print today that I made with some acrylic paints and the Falling Leaves Stencil!

I decided a light and fresh color palette was perfect so I stamped and embossed the largest flower from the Mon Ami set in gold.  I used my Zig markers to add a little bit of color.  Then I die cut the breathe die from white glitter paper and twice more from white cardstock and stacked and adhered them together.  I popped the word die cut and flower onto the card and added a few sequins!

Thanks so much for stopping!  Hope you enjoyed it and you'll come again soon!  And should you feel like shopping, here's a discount code for you:

There is No Limit to Your Awesomeness

Hello everyone!! Nora here from A Creative Touch with a fun card using a color scheme that I love. I chose to mix the colors aqua and red to create a card that could be sent for any occasion.

I used the CAS-Fridays Mon Ami Stamp and Mon Ami Fleur Die set for my flowers and leaves.

I started off my card with an aqua, A2, top folding card. I stamped leaves from Mon Ami in the same colored ink as the card base in the bottom right side. I then used a score board to score my card front at each inch.

I stamped and heat embossed more leaves on white cardstock and vellum. On the vellum, I heat embossed  the leaves in white. I shaded the white leaves in with Copic Markers and cut all of the bunch out by hand. I then stamped one of the flowers from the Mon Ami Stamp Set in black and colored it in with some Copic Markers.

I used foam adhesive to layer a red, pinked circle that I die cut using the Pinked Slimline Dies over the stamped leaves.

I tucked some of the vellum and shaded blades under and over the red die cut. I adhered the flower over the circle, as well as a sentiment from the same stamp set that I had stamped on black cardstock and heat embossed with white.

My last step was to adhere some red sequins randomly around the card and fill in the top of the flower with some red Nuvo Crystal Drops.

All the links in this post are Affiliate Links you can use, at no extra cost to you. You can also use my code NORASENTME to get an extra 15% off your entire order-including the CLEARANCE section at the CAS-Fridays Shop.

Clean and Simple using Mon Ami

Hello, it's Michelle here today sharing a few clean and simple cards using the Mon Ami Stamp set.

It's no secret I love making CAS cards but sometimes I think maybe they are too CAS!  Is that possible!!   So I made a second one.

For my first card I stamped the flower and colored it in with alcohol markers.  I die cut it using the Mon Ami Fleur Die.  I stamped the sentiment and adhered the flower with foam tape.  I adhered the card panel onto a top folding card base with some more foam tape.   Now in my opinion that is a super CAS card.

For my second card I stepped it up a bit but still kept is fairly CAS.  This time I added some leaves to the stem and a little strip of striped paper along the bottom.  I also adhered three clear dew drops.

Here they are side by side.  Which do you prefer?

So Awesome

Hi All - it's Vicki here today.

I do find that I am drawn to flower images.  A few years ago, they intimidated me [as far as coloring them].  Thankfully, with [lots of] practice I feel I can accomplish that now.  Oh I am far from good [have you seen whats out here in internetland!!], but  passable works for me :).

I used the newly released, Flowery Background.  I do love the current trend of NOT coloring but just stamping with this type of stamp. This is not intimidating.

I stamped and colored [with Copics] the flower from Mon Ami, and then cut out the circle panel.  Using a sentiment from the same set, I white embossed and banner cut it out.  Yes, I do love flowers on my cards. :)

I hope you enjoyed my card today.  I enjoyed making it.  If you are interested, you can save 15% off your purchase by using my code.

I have used affiliate links in my post, what does this mean? If you click on the blue links, not the photos, below and shop from them, I will receive a small commission from the sale which is no additional cost to you but compensates me for using the product and my time. Thanks so much!
