A Good Place

Hello!  I've got some more pup fun for you today!  This month I'm going to be sharing cards using the Pawesome Stencil and Nate and Friday Stamp Set!

I started by using my Misti to stamp Nate & Friday in Catherine Pooler Midnight Ink so I could easily stamp multiple times to get a really good solid image.  Then I fussy cut them out and set them aside.

Then I used the Pawesome Stencil to add the larger paw print cluster to the two corners of the card with Deco Foil Transfer Gel.

Then I used a paint brush to splatter some Ranger Distress Resist Spray over the top of the panel and set it aside to dry.

I worked on a few other things (you'll see some of this later) while waiting for the panel to dry.  Finally, I ran it through the Minc with some Summer Rainbow Deco Foil... and I saved that cool negative sheet for later!

I stamped another sentiment in black on white cardstock and then cut it into a strip.

I layered my base panels with a 1/16" and then popped up my images and sentiment over the top.  Don't you just love that Rainbow Splatter???

\Finally added a few sequins and I was done!

Thanks so much for stopping and I hope you'll come again soon!  Check in with me next time and I'll be using that cool negative sheet leftover from today!

Trust Me

Welcome back!  Today I'm sharing a fun foiled background.

I used the Bubbly stencil for the background.  Normally with clear transfer gel, the opal foil has a translucent effect, but this time I decided to try it on a colored cardstock with the Blanco transfer gel.

The gel goes on and dries opaque so it's great for using lighter colors on a darker background!

And you can still see the cool shimmer and colors that the opal finish leaves.

And the fun Salty stamp and Margarita Glass die sets make even more fun!  I made this a frozen margarita... I used my blender to add tiny circles for a crushed ice feel.  I cut the salt from white cardstock and added some glitter.

And the sentiments on the Salty set... so fun and sassy!

And I added flowers from the Pretty Posies stamps and die set.. because ... why wouldn't I?

These are the colors I used...

And I have this for you!

Thanks so much for stopping and hope you come again soon!

Two Foiled Backgrounds From One Foil Sheet!

Welcome back!  Lisa here and I've got some Deco Foil fun today using the new Bubbly Stencil and Rainbow Deco Foil!

I started by applying some Deco Foil Transfer Gel through the bubbly Stencil onto a white cardstock panel.  Once it was dry, I laid a sheet of rainbow foil over the top and ran it through my Minc.  I love that when you use foil on a background like this you are left with a cool negative space.  I always save them because all you need is some Toner Sheets and you can lay the negative space sheet over it and run it through the Minc and it's a whole different look!

Here are my two panes I was left with.  I layered the original onto a white base and the negative panel onto a black base.

I cut the circles from the Pinked Slimline Dies from white glitter paper and layered them over the front of the lighter base to serve as the background for my sentiment.  I cut that using the Celebrate word die from the Hooray Fri-Dies once from foil cardstock and twice more from white cardstock and stacked them together and added them over the glitter circles.  Finally I added a sentiment from the Sassy Celebration Stamp Set on a strip at the bottom of the card.

I used the same basic layout for my black base but using black glossy cardstock for the circles and that cute sentiment from Whole Shebang.  A few sequins finished them up.

Thanks so much for stopping!  Hope you enjoyed it and you'll come again soon.  Should you see anything you need to have in the shop I have this for you:

Love You A Latte - Coffee Chips Release and Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!

Lisa here!  Today I'm sharing a card for the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop and I've used the new Coffee Chips Chipboard along with a few other things!

I started by applying some Deco Foil Transfer Gel onto my base panel using the By The Beans stencil and a spatula.  When it was dry, I layed the rainbow foil over the top and ran it through my Minc.

For this one, I added white glitter to the chipboard and thought I'd share with you how I like to glitter chipboard:

When I add glitter to brown chipboard I like to paint or color the chipboard first to make sure the glitter color is nice and solid without any spots that show through.  So for this one, I started by using some white acrylic paint and painted the pieces I wanted to use.

Once that was dry, I used my cleaned paint brush and painted on some glue... sometimes chipboard can bend or warp when you add glue so I like to apply it with a paintbrush so I can get nice even coverage, yet not over apply it.

While the glue was still wet, I poured the glitter over the top of the chipboard.  I find my fine tweezers from the shop really help with this whole process and to move the chipboard around without ruining anything with my fingers.  I do like to turn it over and press it into the glitter as well to be sure I get as much as possible to stick and then I tap it off and set it aside to dry.  Once it's dry, and before I add it to my project, I'll take a fine brush and brush off the excess onto a scrap piece of paper.

I love the sentiments on the Coffee'isms Stamp Set!  And they are perfect to use along with the Coffee Chips because you can easily substitute the chipboard version of the Coffee words instead of the stamp with some easy masking or with this sentiment, the Love You A is separate completely... so... easy peasy!  I just cut the pieces of the To Go Cup and heat embossed the Love You A onto the wrap and then once my Latte word was dry, I added that underneath it.  Then popped the whole thing onto the rainbow background!

Fun, right?

I'm linking this one up to the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop which has over 600 entries as I type.  There are close to 80 sponsors for the hops and CAS-ual Fridays is one of them.  You can check out the CAS-ual Fridays Day 1 post here for more information and lots of ideas for the new Coffee Chips Chip Board and the main Coffee Hop post here to link up!

This Sucks - But, Coffee!

Lisa here and I'm sharing some new release inspiration with you!  I love the sassy sentiments that are available in the CAS-ual Fridays Shop including the new This Sucks stamp set!  I love using bold colors with it too because that's how I feel when I'm being sassy.

I stuck with a color pallet of black, white and red.  I used the Bold Trellis Stencil, some Deco Foil Transfer Gel and Black Foil for this background.

Don't you just love the fun sentiments in this set??

And then there's Cup Refills.  Coffee is my Sassy Fuel!  This sentiment is quite true...lol!

I layered the Coffee Cup Fri-Die and Bubble Box in a wonky pattern.  On this one I used the Starlequin stencil to foil my background.. you know... the one I like to call my favorite!

Today is the last day for the 2019 Fall/Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!  I'm linking this one up to it!  You have until this evening to play along and did you know CAS-ual Fridays is a sponsor??  Lots of sponsors and lots of prizes!  Check it out here and you still have time to play along!

Double Stenciling to create your own Patterns!!

HELLO CRAFTY FRIENDS!!
Larissa here today to share a FUN Stenciled Background that I Foiled for a PUNCH of Shine, then I replaced the Stencil and used Distress Oxide Inks in Tumbled Glass, Shaded Lilac and Spun Sugar to Ink the stencil again!! I LOVE how VERSATILE Stencils are and I'm always trying to use them in other ways for my Projects!!

I started by placing the Bold Trellis Stencil over my Cardbase that I sprayed with Pixie Spray!! I also used alittle Purple Tape just to make sure it stayed in place!! Then I applied a thin coat of the Deco FOil Transfer Gel using my Stencil Pal!! Then I removed the Purple Tape and the Stencil and set it aside to Dry!!

Once it was Dry I placed the Rainbow Shattered Deco Foil over the Transfer Gel and ran it through the Laminating Machine!! Remove the Foil backing Sheet and SWOON!! Not only is there dimension, but there is some BEAUTIFUL Shine!!

I then realigned the Pattern and Replaced the Bold Trellis Stencil over my Cardbase and Inked the Design again using Distress Oxide Inks in Tumbled Glass, Shaded Lilac and Spun Sugar to Ink the stencil again!! I LOVE that you can layer the Design and it adds SO MUCH dimension by using different mediums together!!

I finished my Card Design with the sentiment "You Are" that I Stamped and Embossed from the Bomb Diggity Stamp Set!! Then I adhered the Circle Die Cuts together one on top of the other Inking the Top one with Shaded Lilac and Spun Sugar Distress Oxide Ink for an Ombre` look to tie in with the Inking on the Cardbase!! I added some Large Iridescent Jewels to the center of all of the Foiled Flowers and then I adhered the Layered Circle Sentiment to my card using Foam Tape!! I LOVE the way it turned out!!

THANKS SO MUCH for stopping by today and I hope you'll give Foiling  and Layered Stenciling a try with your Stencils!! I ASSURE you, you'll LOVE it too!! Have a FABULOUS WEEK!!
