Just Because Floral Card with Maria

Hey CAS-ual Fridays fans!  It's finally spring, yay!  I went to the grocery store today and saw a plethora of flowers ranging from baby's breath to tulips!  This is my inspiration for today's card.

I started by stenciling the flower images on some Neenah Solar White Card Stock using the Terrific Flowers Stencil, with some quick dry dye inks using my mini sponge daubers.

Next, I stamped the Terrific Flowers Stamp on some iridescent Vellum Paper with Versamark ink.  I sprinkled some white embossing powder on top, then heat-set with my heating tool.  I used my precision snips to fussy-cut the image.  I adhered the vellum onto my card using some Art Glitter Glue, for added texture and interest.

I finished my design by stamping the sentiment with Versafine Onyx Black ink and added the Bokeh sequins with liquid glue.  Here's another look:

Even though this card is very simple, I really LOVE how this turned out.  The vellum added some whimsical touch to the overall card design.

Birthday Shaker Card

Hello everyone! Maria here with you today and I am back to share yet another shaker card, showcasing the Somebunny Stamp set.  This is probably one of my all-time favorites from Cas-ual Fridays Stamps.

I started by stamping the image on some Neenah solar white card stock and colored it in with my Spectrum Noir alcohol markers.  I used my precision snips to fussy-cut the image.

I wanted to use this super cute patterned paper that I have from my stash as my background.  This was cut measuring 5 1/2 by 4 1/4.  I adhered this panel on some A2-size notecard.

Next, I die-cut the starburst background panel using a die from my collection.  I adhered some acetate sheet on the back and added some foam tape to create my shaker well.  I added my iridescent sequins on top and adhered the sunburst panel to close my shaker.

I finished my design by adhering my focal image and adding the sentiment that was stamped and embossed with some white embossing powder.  Easy peasy!  Here's another look:

Would You Like Some Bubbly?

Hello my crafty peeps!  Maria here back on the blog with you today to share this cute shaker card, showcasing some of my favorites from the last release called Pop, Fizz Clink stamp set with the Champagne Flute dies and the Bubbly Stencil.  Incidentally, all stencils are on sale right now so grab your faves!

To make the card, I temporarily adhered the Bubbly Stencil on some  Neenah Solar white card stock and added some color with dye inks using some blending brushes.   I adhered this piece on an A2 size card base.

Next, I die-cut the Champagne Flutes a couple of times using some gold and white card stock, as well as some acetate sheets.  Instead of using foam adhesives, I adhered the pieces together to create my shaker well.  I also added the acetate sheet on one end, then added my shaker element to the well.  I closed my shaker by adding another piece of acetate sheet on top, making my champagne flute see-through.

I stamped my sentiment on my focal panel with some Versafine Onyx black ink.  I finished my design by adhering both champagne flutes on my card.  Here's another look:

I absolutely LOVE how this card turned out!  Here are the supplies if you're interested:

Rainbow Bridge

Have you ever made a pet sympathy card for someone else and felt sad because you remember your own childhood pets?  That's what I felt creating this card.

Hello everyone, it's Maria here on the blog with you today sharing this Slimline Pet Sympathy Card, showcasing the Rainbow Bridge stamp set, along with the Pinked Slimline die set.

I started by stamping the images on some Neenah solar white card stock with Versamark ink.  I sprinkled some white embossing powder and heat-set the images with my heating tool.  I fussy-cut the rainbows using my precision snips.

Next, I used some Hybrid inks and my sponge daubers to add color to the rainbows.  I wiped the excess ink using my paper towel.  By doing so, it made the colors stand out against the white embossing.

The background was made by using a clouds stencil from my collection.  I adhered the rainbow die-cuts on top using my tape runner.

The clouds were die-cut using some dies from my collection and adhered on the colored background with liquid glue.

Next, I used the Pinked Slimline die set and die-cut some 110 lb. card stock.  I also created my slimline card base, measuring 8 1/2 by 7 that I folded in half.  I adhered the pinked die-cut with liquid glue, then added the focal panel on top.

I foam-mounted the long clouds on the card and finished my design by stamping the sentiment with black ink.

I hope you like my card today.  Here are the supplies in case you're interested:

Happy Birthday Card with Maria

Hello my crafty friends!  Maria here with you today sharing a fun birthday card, showcasing one of my favorite stamp set from the latest release, called Salty Stamp Set along with the Margarita Glass Die and Chunky Chevron 6x6 Stencil.

I started by stamping the Margarita glass image on some Bristol smooth white card stock with Versamark ink.  I sprinkled some white embossing powder and heat-set with my heating tool.  I colored the image in using my Zig Clean Real Brush Markers then used the coordinating die to die-cut it out.

For added texture, the background was made by using the Chunky Chevron 6x6 stencil on some Bristol smooth A2-size panel with Worn Lipstick distress oxide ink.  I used my distress sprayer to add more depth and texture to the background.  I foam-mounted the focal image onto the colored panel and added some white dots to the image using my gel pen.

I adhered my focal panel on some A2-size notecard with my tape runner.  I put this panel back to my Misti stamping tool and stamped the sentiment with Versafine Onyx black ink.  For more texture, I used some Stardust stickles to add some glittery shine on the "salt".

I finished my design by adding some iridescent sequins to the background.  Here's another look:

This stamp set is so versatile and definitely a must-have for any stamper, like me!  The supplies I use are listed and linked below.

Merry Kiss-Mas

Maria here on the blog with you today sharing this clean & simple card, showcasing the Mistletoe & Holly stamp set.  Incidentally, this stamp set is on clearance so hurry up and grab it before it sells out!

On an A2 size Neenah solar white card stock, I stamped the image with Memento Rich Cocoa ink.  I colored the images in with my Spectrum Noir markers, then stamped the sentiment with Lobster ink.

Next, I used a border edge die to die-cut the scallop edge and also die-cut some red card stock, adhering them together.  I added some fun-foam at the back for added dimension.

Since this card is very simple, I wanted to add a touch of elegance with foil.  I used Gina K Designs Ornamental Holiday foil-mates with red static foil from Therm-O-Web.  I adhered my focal image on this panel, and added this to an A-2 size notecard.

I finished my design by adding the bow die-cut using the coordinating die and some crystal drops to the berries for added texture and interest.  Easy, peasy!  Here's another look:
