Love and Heart Notes

Welcome back!  Sharing a card with you today using the Heart Note Dies and Love Notes Stamp Set. 

I was loving the colors and textures on this gel print, so I stamped a few lines from the Heart Notes set over the top with Distress Oxide... I didn't want a crisp line, but wanted to keep with a distressed look.

I die cut the Heart Notes from a foiled gel print... love the gold sparkle on them against that super distressed background.

Finally my favorite sentiment from the Love Notes set and a few sequins!

HELLO CRAFTY FRIENDS!! 

 Larissa here today sharing this Card using the Everyday Dragonflies Stamp Set & Dragonflies Fri-Dies Set!! This Set is on SALE!! I'm SAD to see it GO as I LOVE this Set and have create SEVERAL of my FAVORITE Designs using it!! 

SWOON!! I LOVE how Elegant this Set is and that it's so versatile!! Here's what I've created for today!! 

I Started by Stamping and Embossing the Dragonfly Image onto my Card Panel using some WoW Embossing Powder in British Summer with my WoW Dual Speed Heat Tool!! !! Then I heat set it and Colored it in using Copic Markers!! I used: R11, R22 & R17 

Next I created a Mask to place over the Image and I Inked with some Tumbled Glass & Broken China Ink to match the Blue that is in the MFT Plaid Patterned Paper I used for the NND Scalloped Frame!! 

I finished the Design by Stamping and Embossing the Sentiment in WoW Bright White Embossing Powder and then I added some White Gel Pen Details to the Butterfly to help add some Highlights!! I also added a Few Studio Katia Pearls to add some Sparkle and finishes off the Card!!

You Make My Heart Smile!

Welcome back!  I've got some watercoloring for you today!  I've used some liquid watercolor this time.

I started by die cutting a panel using the stitched die from the Slimline Pinked set.  I heat embossed the beautiful Flowery Background onto it in gold.  The background covers a regular card base panel so was short for the slimline, but I decided instead of stamping it again, I'd leave it blank and do something different with it.  Then I dropped a couple drops of the yellow and orange watercolors into wells of a paint pallete and water in a couple of the wells.  I started with a yellow wash and then started adding the two colors to the flowers sometimes heavier on the yellow and others the orange.

I love the variations I got and it reminds me of the Fall Mums I'd always plant in the fall in NY.

When that was dry, I blended some yellow and orange Distress Oxides onto the blank end of the panel and then added some texture paste through the Falling Leaves stencil and added gold embossing powder over it and heated that up.

I used some gold Glitter Tape across the area where the two designs came together and then added the sentiment with the word die and sentiment from the Sassy Smiles Duo at the bottom.

Finally, I cut the pinked panel in white and layered the watercolored panel over a yellow; then layered that over the white pinked panel and finally an orange base and a few sequins to finish it off!

Breathe - We'll Get Through This Together!

Welcome back!  It's October and Breast Cancer Awareness month and also CAS-ual Friday Stamps birthday month!  We'll be sharing cards of hope and birthday wishes this month and I'm starting with this one... a card to let a friend know you're there for them.

I started by adding some pink clouds to a white cardstock panel using the Partly Cloudy stencil.

When the panel was filled up with clouds, I splattered some water and soaked up the extra water and then splattered some gold color shine over the top.  I layered the cloudy panel onto a pink base and then layered the two onto a white base.

Then I added some Glitz Glitter Gel through the Love Ribbon Stencil onto pink cardstock and when it was dry, I fussy cut it out.

I layered the ribbon onto the cloudy panel with foam tape and then cut the Breathe from white glitter paper using the Just Breathe die set and then twice more from white cardstock; stacked them together and popped them up over the ribbon.

Finally I stamped the sentiment from the Heart Ribbon Stamp set onto pink cardstock with Versamark and heat embossed it with White embossing powder.  A few sequins and done!

You Can't Have a Glitzy Rainbow Without A Little Gel

Hi all!  I'm sharing with you a glitzy rainbow today!  I just love the Duo's Stamp/Die Combos!  Today I used the Raindrops Duo Stamp Set along with the Scattered Showers Stencil with a bit of glitz!

I started with a mini slimline panel and sprayed the stencil with Pixie Spray to keep it in place.

I chose three colors knowing that as they blended I'd have 5... the yellow and pink would make orange and the pink and blue would make purple!  So if you don't have all of the colors in the rainbow... you can still create a rainbow!

So pretty, right??

Nothing a little Glitz Glitter Gel can't make even better!  I love the Iridescent because it allows the colors beneath it to show through...

While the background dried, I stamped the sentiment from the stamp set onto a strip of Copic friendly paper and colored in the blocked Rainbow word.  I matted it with black.

One of the pinked circles from the Pinked Slimline die set was perfect cut in white glitter paper as an embellishment underneath the sentiment strip!  A few sequins and I was done!

BEAUTIFUL CAS Birthday Card!!

HELLO CRAFTY FRIENDS!! 

Larissa here today sharing a BEAUTIFUL CAS Birthday Card!! I LOVE being able to combine Stenciling with WoW Embossing Powder for a POP of Texture and Shine!! Today I'm using the NEW Flowerburst Stencil and the Happy Birthday Stamp Set!! 

I Started by Spraying the back side of my Stencil with Pixie Spray!! Then I placed it over the Card Panel and pressed it firmly into place!! I inked with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink and removed the Stencil!! 

Then I Stamped and Embossed the Happy Birthday Sentiment with WoW Embossing Ink and Embossed with Navy WoW Embossing Powder onto a Circle Die Cut!! I Inked with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink and then adhered it the Card Panel with Foam Tape!! 

I adhered some Fairy Rock Rhinestones for some Sparkle and my Card is ready to Mail!!

Just a Little Card For You!!

HELLO CRAFTY FRIENDS!! 

Larissa here today sharing a BEAUTIFUL Card using the the NEW Flowery Background and Flower Duo Stamp Sets!! I honestly can't get enough of these Stamp Sets as I just LOVE Flowers!! Especially in the Summer and the Chrysanthemum is one of my FAVORITES!! 

 Here's what I've created for today!! 

I Stamped and Embossed the NEW Flowery Background Stamp Set with WoW Clear Embossing Ink and then Embossed with WoW Bright White Embossing Powder!! Then Heat Set it and Inked with Distress Oxide Ink in Wilted Violet!! I concentrated more color towards the center of the Flowers and I LOVE how BEAUTIFUL this Image is Embossed!! 

I Die Cut a Stitched Circle and Inked with Distress Oxide Ink in Wilted Violet!! Then I Stamped the "Just a Little Card For You" Sentiment with Wilted Violet Distress Oxide Ink!!  inked the Circle Die Cut using a light hand with the same Ink, just so the Circle wouldn't be so Stark against the Background!! Then I Die Cut another Larger Circle Die and Inked it with some Distress Oxide Ink in Wilted Violet and layered it behind the Sentiment Circle to help make the Sentiment POP!! Then I paired it with a TE Lavender Glaze A2 Envelope!! I wanted the Envelope to coordinate, so I Stamped the Flower Image from the Flower Duo Stamp Set with WoW Clear Embossing Ink and then Embossed with WoW Bright White Embossing Powder!! Then Heat Set it and Inked with Distress Oxide Ink in Wilted Violet!! I also Inked around the edges of the Envelope to help tie everything together and I really LOVE how SPECIAL it feels!! 

I added some Iridescent Sequins and Trinity Stamps Fairy Rocks Rhinestones and adhered the Sentiment Circle to my Card Panel with Foam Tape!! 

It's ready to send to someone SPECIAL!!
