Rainbow raindrops

Hello, it’s Michelle here today with a colorful rainbow raindrops card!
We are in the middle of  Winter down here in Australia, it is raining  and looks like rain all week so I had raindrops on my mind.

I started with the Scattered Showers stencil and various colors of Catherine Pooler Inks.  After I removed the stencil, I used the ink left on the brushes to go over my stenciling.
I used the Raindrops Duo set to stamp the sentiment and die cut the clouds and lightening bolt.

Don't forget there's a HUGE SALE going on until the end of the month!

Hello!  I've got one today with a watercolored background I created on my Gel Press using some Distress Oxides and water along with the Bubbly Stencil.

I cut a few clouds from the Raindrops Duo out of white glitter paper and stamped and cut the bunny and sentiment from Somebunny.

Finally I popped everything up onto the watercolored background.

That's me for today!  I hope you enjoyed it and you'll come again soon!

Look for the Rainbow!

Hi everyone, it's Michelle here today sharing  a few rainbow cards.

With everything going on in the world today I thought we could all do with looking at some pretty rainbow colors.

For my first card I've used the Partly Cloudy Stencil and Catherine Pooler inks from the Party Collection.  I added some glitter to the rainbow to make it sparkle!  Then I stamped the sentiment from the Raindrops Duo set.  You could also color in the word Rainbow on the sentiment but I decided to keep it simple.

For my second card I've used the Scattered Showers Stencil and the same sentiment.  This time I colored in the Rainbow sentiment.

Rainbow Foiled Raindrops

Welcome back!  I've got a quick fun card for you today.  I had foiled the raindrops on a background panel with some beautiful new Deco Foil, but I messed up part of it and decided to die cut a heart from it.

Turned out it was perfect to use along with sentiments from the Raindrops Duo!

Thanks so much for stopping!  Hope you enjoyed it and come again soon!

Somebunny Told Me-Box Card

Welcome back!  I've been wanting to do this for a while... that sweet bunny from the Somebunny Stamp Set has been begging to be floating high in the sky!

I used the Party Cloudy Stencil to create the rainbow.  I adhered a small scrap piece of paper to the back of the stencil using some great new tape from Thermoweb!

I blended a light pink and yellow through the stencil to create the rainbow.

Before removing the stencil, I added some Glitz Glitter Gel through the stencil and set it aside to dry before I fussy cut it out.

I used the dies from the Raindrops Duo stamp and die set to cut out a bunch of clouds in pink, white and blue to match the colors in the papers I was using.  I attached them to my box card using some clear packaging from an embossing folder I had.  I love to use packaging because it's sturdy and I can add heavier items to it like those butterfly embellishments!

I finished it up by adding a sentiment from the set to one of the flaps.  As you can see when my card closes, that balloon sticks up over the edge...lol!  But that's not unusual to me... I'll just have to use a bigger envelope...

Thanks so much for stopping!  I hope you'll come again soon!

Raindrops Duo and a HUGE sale!

Hello, it's Michelle here today with a few cards I made using the Raindrops Duo stamp and die set.
I love the Duo's, they are such great value and if you pop over to the shop there is a HUGE sale going on!

My first card is made using the stamps only with some Catherine Pooler Inks.

For my second card I used the stamp for the sentiment and the dies for the raindrops and clouds.
I ink blended the die cuts with a rainbow of Catherine Pooler inks.

Today's Good Mood

Hello!  Hope you enjoyed all of the new Stencil Release inspiration!  I've got some more for you today!  I used the Partly Cloudy Stencil for this Pinked Slimline coffee card!

I started by cutting the To Go Cup from white cardstock (I did end up re-cutting the wrap from vellum and decided to use that instead of the white).  I blended three colors of ink on it to create a rainbow, overlapping them so the pink and yellow made orange and the pink and blue made purple.

I used the same colors and blended the rainbow from the Partly Cloudy Stencil onto some white cardstock using a small blending brush.  I did add a purple to this one.  After blending, I added some Glitz Glitter Gel to the entire stenciled area and set it aside to dry.

Next I cut a slimline base and used the Partly Cloudy stencil to add clouds to the slimline, moving the stencil to the left and right alternately so that the clouds were not uniform.

I fussy cut the rainbow when it was dry and cut the clouds from the Raindrops Duo stamp and die set from white glitter paper.

I assembled all of my pieces and added them to the front of the card using varying thicknesses of foam tape.

I cut the largest pinked circle from the Pinked Slimline die set and stamped the sentiment from the Coffee Talk stamp set onto the top half.  Then I cut the Coffee word die from the Coffee Cup dies in black glitter and twice more from black cardstock and adhered them together and added it to the sentiment.

And that's me for today!  Thanks for stopping and I hope you enjoyed it and come again soon!

You Can't Have a Glitzy Rainbow Without A Little Gel

Hi all!  I'm sharing with you a glitzy rainbow today!  I just love the Duo's Stamp/Die Combos!  Today I used the Raindrops Duo Stamp Set along with the Scattered Showers Stencil with a bit of glitz!

I started with a mini slimline panel and sprayed the stencil with Pixie Spray to keep it in place.

I chose three colors knowing that as they blended I'd have 5... the yellow and pink would make orange and the pink and blue would make purple!  So if you don't have all of the colors in the rainbow... you can still create a rainbow!

So pretty, right??

Nothing a little Glitz Glitter Gel can't make even better!  I love the Iridescent because it allows the colors beneath it to show through...

While the background dried, I stamped the sentiment from the stamp set onto a strip of Copic friendly paper and colored in the blocked Rainbow word.  I matted it with black.

One of the pinked circles from the Pinked Slimline die set was perfect cut in white glitter paper as an embellishment underneath the sentiment strip!  A few sequins and I was done!

Thanks so much for stopping and hope you'll come again soon for more CAS-ual Fridays inspiration!
