Welcome Back!  Today I'm sharing another coffee card with a watercolored background using the Falling Leaves stencil!

I stamped, cut and colored the pretty flowers from the Flowers Duo and tucked them inside the Coffee Cup after stamping the sentiment from Coffee talk.  Then I cut the Coffee word die from green glitter paper and then popped it up at the bottom to complete the sentiment!

Today's Good Mood

Hello!  Hope you enjoyed all of the new Stencil Release inspiration!  I've got some more for you today!  I used the Partly Cloudy Stencil for this Pinked Slimline coffee card!

I started by cutting the To Go Cup from white cardstock (I did end up re-cutting the wrap from vellum and decided to use that instead of the white).  I blended three colors of ink on it to create a rainbow, overlapping them so the pink and yellow made orange and the pink and blue made purple.

I used the same colors and blended the rainbow from the Partly Cloudy Stencil onto some white cardstock using a small blending brush.  I did add a purple to this one.  After blending, I added some Glitz Glitter Gel to the entire stenciled area and set it aside to dry.

Next I cut a slimline base and used the Partly Cloudy stencil to add clouds to the slimline, moving the stencil to the left and right alternately so that the clouds were not uniform.

I fussy cut the rainbow when it was dry and cut the clouds from the Raindrops Duo stamp and die set from white glitter paper.

I assembled all of my pieces and added them to the front of the card using varying thicknesses of foam tape.

I cut the largest pinked circle from the Pinked Slimline die set and stamped the sentiment from the Coffee Talk stamp set onto the top half.  Then I cut the Coffee word die from the Coffee Cup dies in black glitter and twice more from black cardstock and adhered them together and added it to the sentiment.

Make Pretty Things

Welcome back!  I felt the need to get my gold on for today and what's better than some coffee with that?

I started by applying some glitter embossing paste through the Tin Roof Stencil onto a die cut panel.  While it dried I assembled my cup and sentiment.

One of my favorite die sets from the shop is the To Go Cup Dies!  The wrap was cut from a previously blended and embossed piece (using the Full On Floral Stamp Set) that I saved because of course I would!  I used the colors in it to cut the cup lid and one of the base panels.  I cut the Coffee word die from the Coffee Cup die set from gold glitter paper and twice more from plain cardstock and stacked them together.  Then I stamped the sentiment pieces from the Coffee Talk stamp set and cut them in strips.

Once the paste was dry, the card was assembled and a few sequins added.

Coffee - A Hug in a Mug

Hi everyone, thank you so much for popping in and really hope you and your family are doing well. We have started our third week of complete lockdown in New Zealand and so far everyone is doing a good job with staying at home but the past few nights I've been out walking the dog to find groups of people out on the pavements in front of their houses, having get-togethers with neighbours, friends etc...and they are not six feet apart!!! I just don't understand their mentality. I'm off to the supermarket soon for the 3rd time in three weeks and I'm petrified.....

On to cuter topics, my dog and cats have loved us being home as I'm sure all your pets have around the world. And I was thinking about what food (apart from flour) would be consumed the most with everyone being at home and think maybe coffee!! So I decided to combine these two thoughts on one card:

I used so many different products on this card: die-cuts from Coffee Cup Fri-Dies, stamp images from Coffee Talk and Little Huggables and a stenciled background using the Curtis Stencil.  For all the details on how I put this card together, pop over to my blog HERE.

Here's what I've created for today!! I thought it would be FUN to create a Masculine Designed Card!! I find they can be the hardest to create, so I wanted to share some Ideas!! 

Have you ever looked at your Cover Fri-Dies as Stencils!!?? I wanted something circular, and the    Trellis Cover Fri-Die fit the bill!! I used some Therm O Web Purple tape the hold it down as I inked over the Cover Fri-Die with some Gathered Twigs Distress Ink!!

How GREAT is this!!?? Now you can get even MORE out of your Cover Fri-Dies!!   

I Stamped the Coffee Sentiment using Vintage Photo Distress Oxide Ink then I Stamped the I Love you more than sentiment in TE Early Grey Ink and then added the Stamped and Embossed Heart from the Puffy Heart Love!! !The sentiments are from the Coffee Talk Set!! I Die Cut the Coffee Cup from some Masculine Patterned Paper and then added some Inking for some Shading!! I Colored the Coffee with Copic Markers in E25 & E29 then added some Tonic Studios Morning Dew Nuvo Drops to make it look more like Coffee!! I added some Patterned Paper for the Counter and then some more inking for the shading!! It's these little details that I think really make a BIG impact on the over all look of the finished Card Design!! 

I LOVE the way it turned out!!

It's Never Too Latte for COFFEE

Happy Wednesday!! It is Nora here from A Creative Touch and I am on the blog today with a coffee card in spirit of the spring/summer coffee themed blog hop with Coffee Loving Cardmakers.

I had a lot of fun getting inky when I created this card. When I make coffee cards, I always use some form of ink distressing. It gives me an excuse to be messy!!

Stamps: Peace, Love and Coffee, Time for Coffee and Coffee Talk

Dies: To Go Cup and Coffee Cup Fri-dies

I started off this card by making the background. I used two different sized beans from Peace, Love and Coffee to randomly stamp across a die cut piece of kraft colored cardstock. I then took the top of an embossing powder, dipped it into brown ink and "stamped" it onto the background to make a coffee stain.

Next I used Distress Ink to blend around the edges of a white, A2 sized card.

I adhered the kraft panel over the distressed card base. 

I used the To go Cup and the Coffee Cup Fri-dies to die cut the various pieces of the cup from scraps of paper. I distressed the edges with ink, and then adhered the cup and the "coffee" to the card front.

Next I used brown dye ink to stamp sentiments from Time for Coffee and the Coffee Talk stamp sets, onto white cardstock strips. I distressed the edges with Distress Ink and adhered them to the card using foam adhesive. 

To complete my card, I covered the the die cut "coffee" sentiment with an aqua shimmer pen and Glossy Accents. This helped to give the word some emphasis.
