Happy Friday!

While many of you are scoping out Black Friday deals and anticipating Cyber Monday deals,
I am still feeling both full and thankful from Thanksgiving.
I've got a LOT to be thankful for this year!!
So instead of midnight line standing, doorbusters, and last minute savings,
I am spreading hope :)
and I'm doing it all weekend long.

Girl Friday Archana created one of the prettiest cards I've seen using
Mon Ami, Autumn Blessings, Casual Comfort, Mon Ami Fleur Fri-Dies,Acorn Fri-Dies, Casual Trees Fri-Dies and our retiring Mums the Word.

This card makes me all sorts of happy.
It's positively gorgeous!!

Look how beautifully they all layer together!

However you choose to spend this weekend,
I "hope" you enjoy yourself :)

Happy Friday!!

Today I have a treat for you :)
We have a special guest designer joining us today, Jen!
She won our May CAS-ual Fridays Challenge with a ridiculously cute card,
and now she is here to show off her mad design skills using some of your CAS-ual Fridays favorites!!

First up, she had some fun with Exclamations and Shenanigans...

Oh wow, don't you just love all that colorful splendor??

Next ups is Calm and Gentle paired with Mums the Word...
I LOVE how she curved the sentiment on her block.

This next one just makes me smile...check out what she did with Sunbeams...

Last but not least, she got playful with our Casual Trees Fri-Dies...
I really love the layered look of both trees in 3 colors.

I just adore what she's done here!
Let's give a big woot woot for Jen!!!!
Please stop by her blog and leave her some love.
Then take a stroll around and see all the fun she has for your oohing and aahing delight.

A farewell

It's Tuesday.
If you've known me for any length of time, you know how much I dislike goodbyes.
Goodbyes are final, goodbyes feel horrible, so we don't do goodbyes here.
We say farewell because it just feels much more open ended. :)

Today we say farewell to Girl Friday Piali.
I've known this day was coming for a bit, but it feels like the time passed too quickly.

I have loved having her on the team, and I know you have loved seeing her awesome creations.
She is super talented and I wish her the absolute best as she takes some time to enjoy summer vacation with her littles, and contemplates what might be next on her crafty agenda :)

Let's take a peek at a few of my favorites from Piali...

Heart Note Fri-Die and Love Notes

Heart Board Fri-Dies and Cupid's Arrows
Tech Talk and Houndstooth
Amazeballs
Mums the Word
Wonderful Words and Out Loud
This last one is extra super special.
It made Piali a cover girl!!

Oh gosh, I am going to miss her!
She has a couple of CAS-ual giveaways on her blog,
so be sure to stop by her blog and wish her well.
Maybe we can talk her into coming back one day :)

October 28

Happy Monday!
Let's start this week off right.
Girl Friday Dana has 2 beautiful cards for your oohing and aahing pleasure!

First up from Amber Waves...

I love the way she stamped her cardbase on the diagonal.
Wonderful tone on tone look, and the little white dots she added
really make her focal panel pop.
Lovely!!

Next up is a beautiful birthday card using Zigs & Zags,
Mums the Word and Casual Elegance.
I love the little leaves from Casual Elegance paired with the pretty flowers from Mums the Word.
The cool Zigs & Zags background really looks great with the floral theme of this card.
Whole lotta lovely!!

We'll be back tomorrow with the winner's from our Saturday birthday post.
You still have time to comment, so check it out!!

Happy Monday!
I know that sounds like an oxymoron, but I do believe that even a Monday can be happy,
especially when it starts with a creation like the one Girl Friday Jingle has for you today!

I've said it before...Christmas Carols is not just for Christmas!
Check it out...

OhMyWowzers! That is exactly what I said to Jingle last night when I saw this!
She used those pretty 4 petal flowers from Christmas Carols,
and a bleach technique to create that beautiful background.
It almost looks like tin, doesn't it?
So pretty!
I really like the way she lopped off a portion of the Bubble Labels Fri-die.
Her sentiment from Mums the Word is a lovely fit for this beauty!

See? Monday isn't looking so bad now, is it?
Be sure to leave some love here for Jingle.
We'll be adding this to our Pinterest boards later.
You'll find loads of project inspiration on our set and Fri-Dies boards!
