Autumn Greetings

Hi there everybody!! Spring has just started here in New Zealand but I know on the other-side of the world Autumn is about to begin. Its such a beautiful time of year, with all the leaves changing and the days being a little cooler but still sunny. So I created a card today for all of you on the 'other-side':

I thought it would be nice to mix one of the brand new stamps and a much older set, to show that some stamps are never too old to be used!!

I pencil coloured the 'Fox' from the 'Bushy Tailed' stamp set and die-cut with the 'Fox Banner Fri-dies'. And I created an Autumnal background for him using the 'Autumn Blessings' stamp set. To find out exactly how I put this all together, pop over to my blog Twine Around for a full run-down.

Autumn Birthday Cards

Happy Sunday!

Fall has officially arrived! Well, at least it has here in Colorado! The leaves are beginning to change color and we've got the fire on as I write this. It's been a cold and rainy day!

Kelly came up with a wonderful way to combine our Shenanigans birthday stamp set with a couple of our autumn sets to create fabulous fall colored birthday cards!

She stamped the leaf images from Autumn Blessings in multiple colors to create a pile of leaves on her cardfront. Then she added the big words from Shenanigans in coordinating ink colors, and a beautiful sentiment from Amber Waves embossed in gold. She really captured the essence of fall color! 

Kelly was smart and stamped a few of these pretty cards changing up the colors a bit to make each unique. She's ready for those fall birthdays now!

Happy Friday!

Today I have a darling card for you from Kimberly.

She cleverly created a wreath using die cuts from Acorn Fri-Dies!

Check this out!

Here's what Kimberly said about creating this stunner:
"I used alcohol inks to create several color variations on glossy paper, and then die cut the leaves from the Acorn Fri-Dies. I formed them into a wreath shape and stamped and heat embossed the sentiment, also from Autumn Blessings, with copper embossing powder."

So cute!

Nora has broken out the fall goodies! 

She got inky with our Autumn Blessings and Acorn Fri-Dies and then added a sweet sentiment from Pretty Posies

How cute is that little acorn cut from designer paper? Such a sweet card! 

The weather will turn cooler soon and the trees will begin sporting those pretty colored leaves before we know it! Do you have your fall stamps ready??

Fall is in the air!

Our trees are beginning to turn colors already,

the mornings are becoming crisper

the evenings cooler,

and the sun is starting to retire earlier.

sigh.

Julia has done it again!

She's knocked my socks off with her creative approach to an autumn stamp set, 

that makes it perfect for everyday!

and used the stamps and die in a creative way to create a tulip!

I love the darling frame she made with one of the Bubble Box Fri-Dies

Look how pretty this is! I love the decorative dots she added to give it a little personality,

Happy Friday!

While many of you are scoping out Black Friday deals and anticipating Cyber Monday deals, 

I am still feeling both full and thankful from Thanksgiving.

I've got a LOT to be thankful for this year!!

So instead of midnight line standing, doorbusters, and last minute savings,

I am spreading hope :)

and I'm doing it all weekend long.

Girl Friday Archana created one of the prettiest cards I've seen using 

Mon Ami, Autumn Blessings, Casual Comfort, Mon Ami Fleur Fri-Dies,Acorn Fri-Dies, Casual Trees Fri-Dies and our retiring Mums the Word.

This card makes me all sorts of happy. 

It's positively gorgeous!!

Do you doodle? 

Girl Friday Julia doodles. 

She doodles oodles of fun!

Check out what she created with our Autumn Blessings set by doing a little clever masking, and then doodling all the doo-dah day.

Is that stunning or what?!

Adult coloring books are all the rage right now and I have to say Julia's doodling can rival any book I've seen! 

She stamped the images by masking off some of them to fill  in the space. 

Then she doodled until she had filled in the images, then colored with her copics to her hearts content!

I'm floored!

To finish off her creation, she embossed the sentiment in gold-yum! and then slipped it behind a Bubble Box die cut to frame it up. 

Gorgeous!!!!

Happy Monday!

Jingle here today! You don't have to pull out turkeys and pumpkins for Thanksgiving cards! This gorgeous Thanksgiving card uses the Truth Is stamp set along with a sentiment from Autumn Blessings and some gorgeous fall color tones to create that warm and cozy Thanksgiving feel!

Instructions:

1. Trim Card base from kraft cardstock, set asside.

2. Trim a white panel, stamp the flowers in kraft.

3. Color flowers with fall tones.

4. Stamp and emboss the sentiment in gold.

5. Adhere washi tape and glitter tape to top of panel.

6. Adhere panel to card base.

7. Give to someone and watch them smile!
