Happy Tuesday!

Girl Friday Zoey has a fantastically sunny card for you today. 

She's blended her mixed media art style 

with our Out Loud and Casual Elegance sets to create this...

I really like how she stamped the Out Loud poem that I wrote in such a way 

that only portions of it appear. 

And I think the pretty Casual Elegance vines add a touch of sophistication and elegance.

That lovely sentiment is such a powerful focal point.

The black thread looped lazily around it adds such a soft and easy happiness to it.

A farewell

It's Tuesday. 

If you've known me for any length of time, you know how much I dislike goodbyes.

 Goodbyes are final, goodbyes feel horrible, so we don't do goodbyes here.

We say farewell because it just feels much more open ended. :)

Today we say farewell to Girl Friday Piali. 

I've known this day was coming for a bit, but it feels like the time passed too quickly. 

I have loved having her on the team, and I know you have loved seeing her awesome creations.

She is super talented and I wish her the absolute best as she takes some time to enjoy summer vacation with her littles, and contemplates what might be next on her crafty agenda :)

Happy Saturday!

What a fun release week we had!  

 3 new stamp sets and a fabulous new Fri-Die set.

Girl Friday Piali created a stunning project using our 

new Casual Trees Fri-Die and 

our previously released Out Loud.

I love the tree cut out of white, and the white embossed sentiment really makes it pop.

Next she used our lovely sentiment from Butterbows

with some yummies from her stash to create this pretty card.

We are halfway to Friday, Woot Woot!!

Girl Friday Piali has a couple beautiful Christmas cards to share with you today.

I love the big beautiful snowflake from her stash paired with our yummy sentiment from 

Snowflake Greetings...

Next up, she used a non Christmas stamp set with Christmas Carols

for a fabulous look.  Check out Out Loud...

Gosh, it looks amazing embossed in white over those gorgeous sky to hill colors.

The little wood trees are scrumptious embellishments. The sentiment from

Christmas Carols stamped on pattern paper is a wonderful touch.

 Flat enough to mail easily, but still lots of rich texture.

Ok, who wants to make Christmas cards?????

I've got quite the treat for you today!

Girl Friday Virginia has created delightful projects that you will love

using our Christmas Carols, Funky Square Tag and 4 Petal Fri-Dies!!

Oh my gracious!!

Aren't they just yummy?

 But wait! It gets better...

She has a supply list AND instructions for you!!

Supplies: Funky Square Tags, Christmas Carols, , 4 Petal Set Fri Dies, Bazzill Paper (black), felt (Michael's), sequins, white gel pen, Colorbox Chalk Ink, White embossing Powder, ribbons, gift box, Washi Tape (gift wrap), The Twinery, ribbons

1. make diecut for tag and felt poinsettia
2. stitch up the poinsettia with sequins
3. emboss sentiment, ink up the edges with color box
4. use white gel pen for faux stitching
5.  assemble tags with twines and ribbons

I want to make some for my packages this year!

Now, lets's take a look at this pretty card she created using

Out Loud, Mums the Word and Wonderful Words.

I love that flower embossed in gold!!

It looks so pretty with the Out Loud text background stamped in 2 colors.

Just lovely!!

In just a couple days we'll be celebrating Thanksgiving here in the US.

I'm starting to cook today so my house will be smelling yummy :)

I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving and eat lots of turkey.

Welcome back to Day 3 of

November Sneak Peek Week!!

I love text!!

It's one of my favorite looks in cardmaking.

I wanted to create a texty background set, 

but I didn't want to hijack anyone else's writings.

So,

one day, I sat in my backyard, trying to clear my head 

(it gets quite full at times)

and so I closed my eyes, 

and just listened for a while,

before opening them again 

to see things simply.

And then I wrote.
