Happy Monday!

Girl Friday Jingle was inspired to create something "officey" 

using the Tech Talk stamp set. 

Using the graph paper as her starting point was a genius idea. 

It works so well with the cute little computer keys, and 

the silver paper clips are a super cool touch. 

This would be a great encouragement card 

don't you think?

Ok, prepare to raid your kid's school supplies for stuff you can add to your creative stash!

A farewell

It's Tuesday. 

If you've known me for any length of time, you know how much I dislike goodbyes.

 Goodbyes are final, goodbyes feel horrible, so we don't do goodbyes here.

We say farewell because it just feels much more open ended. :)

Today we say farewell to Girl Friday Piali. 

I've known this day was coming for a bit, but it feels like the time passed too quickly. 

I have loved having her on the team, and I know you have loved seeing her awesome creations.

She is super talented and I wish her the absolute best as she takes some time to enjoy summer vacation with her littles, and contemplates what might be next on her crafty agenda :)

Happy Thursday!! 

It's Girl Friday Dana's turn to delight you today, 

and she has 2 super great and totally opposite cards to show you.

That's how she rolls ;)

I just love how she paired the two sentiments from Calm and Gentle. 

The encouraging thought goes so well with those lovely Truth Is blooms.

And if you love that pretty red designer paper at the bottom of her card,

she handstamped that with the cute little border stamp which is also from Truth Is.

Now to switch gears to something super graphic and uber cool...

Any techie would be thrilled to get a card like this!!!

Happy Thursday!!

Girl Friday Angie has quite the treat for you today!

She's been mixing ink with modeling paste.

Say what??

Yep, check out what she did with Exclamations, Tech Talk and Heart Board Fri-Dies...

Gawsh that looks cool!

Such a cool combination of stamps and dies and cool techniques.

Next, she created this with Exclamations and Funky Round Tag Fri-Dies.

Here's a word or two from her about the cool stuff she's playing with :)

FYI, here's how I did this one below in case you are wondering: I made the stencil piece, then filled it using modeling paste (mixed with a few drops of reinker for color). It looked fabulous, but a little lonesome by itself, so I picked up a previously rejected 3 3/4" x 5" piece of white cardstock that I had used the Funky thing die on, where I placed the die coming off the side of the cardstock. I played with placing it around the Funky die paste part and liked it, then cut the rest of the cardstock off the side and top edge. Is that as clear as mud? ha! 

Ok, so time for a little truth talk...I'd never even heard of modeling paste,

or seen it used until Angie got her ink on with it.

But...I'm thinking I NEED some now!! LOL!

It looks like so much fun!!

Ok, let's try this again!

Yesterday I was without internet for most of the day,

and was frantically playing catch up last night.

Apparently, not very well!!

But guess what...her actual card is super appropriate for just this sort of thing!
