Wishing You A Magical Birthday

I hope everyone's doing well!  Maria here on the blog with you sharing a simple birthday card, showcasing the Be a Unicorn stamp set with the Unicorn Fri-Die.

I stamped the image with Spectrum Noir Alcohol Proof Ink in Brown.  I colored the image in with my Spectrum Noir TriBlend markers and used the Unicorn Fri-Die to die-cut the image.

I cut an A2 size Neenah solar white card stock on an angle and foam-mounted this piece on an A2 size card base.  I added the rainbow patterned paper.

The black decorative border was die-cut using a retired border die from Cas-ual Fridays but you can use any other border die to add to your card.

I finished my design by stamping the sentiment with Versafine Onyx black in and added some crystal jewels.  Here's a closer look:

I hope you like my card today.  Please visit the Cas-ual Friday online store and check out the clearance section now reduced to 75% off, as well as check out the new release.  You can also use my coupon code below for an additional 15% off your order.

Hello Crafty Friends!!
Larissa here today to share an Elegant Stenciled Background Card using Gold Glitz Glitter Gel and Pure Gold Metallix Gel to create my own custom Color for the Modern Petals Stenciled Background!!
I just LOVE the way it looks in real life!!
To Start I sprayed the back of the Modern Petals Stencil with some Therm O Web Pixie Spray!! I LOVE using this with my stencils as I get the PERFECT stenciled impression every time!! Then I mixed together some Gold Glitz Glitter Gel by Gina K Designs and some Therm O Web Pure Gold Metallix Gel to create my own custom color and applied it to my Stencil Pal and stenciled my Design onto my Cardstock Panel!! I sat it aside to dry and then Die Cut a Thin Black Frame to make my design POP!!
I Stamped and Embossed the Unicorn Image from the Be a Unicorn Stamp Set and then Die Cut the Image out using the coordinating Unicorn Fri-Die!! I used Copic Markers to color the Image in (N8, N6, N4, N2, N0 and R20)!! Added some Tonic Studios Glitter Pen and Morning Dew Nuvo Drops to the Horn, Hooves and added a Star Gem!! I used Distress Oxide Ink in Tumbled Glass and Cracked Pistachio to add some color to my Background!! Then I Stamped and Embossed the Sentiment using Versa Fine Black Onix Ink and some Gobi WoW Glitter Embossing Powder!! It's a clear Embossing Powder with just a hint of Gold Glitter that ties the whole design together nicely!! A few Gold Jewels finishes off the entire design!! I think this card could be used for many occasions and is SURE to make someone's Day alittle Brighter!!

A Magical BIrthday Card

Happy Easter everyone!! It is Nora here today on the blog. You would think that I would have created an Easter card today BUT I thought that would be too traditional! I decided to create a birthday card instead!!

Stamps: Be A Unicorn

I started off this card by stamping and die cutting the Unicorn from the stamp set. I then used Copic Markers to color it in.

I then covered the mane and the tail with Diamond Stickles and set it aside to dry.

While the image was drying, I die cut a piece of Yupo paper and used alcohol ink in regular and pearl to create a rainbow background. This was SO FUN and very quick to do. I don't spend hours working it like others do but I think it came out fantastic.

I then stamped the sentiment from the Be A Unicorn stamp set in an alcohol safe, black ink and mounted the card front on a 5 1/2" by 4 1/4"  white card base. My last step was to use foam adhesive to pop the unicorn up over the rainbow.

This was a really quick and easy card to create and it looks like it took a ton of time. If you feel like getting yourself an Easter present, use my code NORASENTME to get 15% off your total purchase at the CAS-ual Fridays Store!

That is it for me today. I hope you all have a FABULOUS day!!

Your inner sparkle card

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my new CAS- ual Fridays post.
Today I am going to share my new lovely sparkle card  made with one single CAS- ual Fridays   stamp  and one CAS- ual Fridays matching die.
Lately I am in this glittery mood and unicorns are the best fit for the glitters and sparkles.

The background was made over the adhesive paper with a stencil. First the blue layer of glitter was added over the stencil and then the clear glitter was added on the rest of the adhesive paper with the stencil off the paper.
The unicorn was stamped and die cut with the matching die and then the background black die cut was glued for the shadow.

The sentiment was stamped with black permanent ink and then inked with pink mist over it.
I decided to add the flower cluster to make it even more sparkling and festive.

Here are the stamp and the die used to make this lovely card:

See how easy it is to make this  card with just one great CAS- ual Fridays stamp set and one single die.

Unleash Your Sparkle

Hello lovelies! I am so over winter and ready for a little bit of sunshine and warmer weather; and I think I unconsciously used some light, bright colours when I made my card for today!

Stamp Set: Be A Unicorn. Dies: Unicorn Fri-Die.

I started with a white C6 card blank and blended three Distress Ink colours onto the front, varying the intensity of the colours a little.

With black ink, I stamped one of the sentiments from Be A Unicorn, directly into the left hand corner of the card. The sentiments stamp so well, with a nice juicy ink, that there's no need to use a Precision Press (but feel free if it makes you feel a little better about stamping directly onto the card!)

With the same ink, I stamped the unicorn onto some spare white card, then used the co-ordinating Unicorn Fri-Die to cut it out. It does this so much better than I could ever cut it by hand (so it's well worth investing in if you have the stamp set!)

I adhered the die-cut directly onto the card blank, leaving a little bit of the hair free from adhesive, so it looks like it's blowing in a soft, spring breeze! (See where my mind takes me?)

Then, to finish the card, I added a selection of little sparkles, to echo the sentiment and add a bit of dimension.

Magical Glittery Unicorn

Hi there everyone!  Kimberly here today to share a card using the beautiful new Be a Unicorn stamp set and coordinating Unicorn Fri-Die!
This stamp set is wonderful in that it is a bit more "grown up" than some other unicorn images - perfect for cards going to adults!   But....it can also work for kids, as I've shown today!   To give it a younger vibe, I used some castle patterned paper from Doodlebug and glitter.....lots of glitter!
I stamped the unicorn image with Catherine Pooler Be Mine ink, then heat embossed with clear embossing powder.  After I die cut the image with the coordinating die,  I added glitter details with several colors of Stickles and set it aside to dry.   I added the patterned paper to my card base and a strip of coordinating solid light blue cardstock.   I stamped the sentiment (also from Be a Unicorn) with CP Pixie Dust ink.   Once the unicorn die cut was dry, I added it to the card with foam adhesive.

I hope you've enjoyed my card today - I love when a stamp set can be used for all ages!  I'll see you back on the CFS blog later this month.    Have a wonderful week!
