Happy Birthday to a Boston Terrier Lover

Hello it's Michelle here today from Seashell Creations with a birthday card for a Boston Terrier lover.
I had previously posted a card on my Instagram page using the Nate & Friday Stamp set and a friend saw it and asked if I could maker her one for her daughter who owns a Boston Terrier.

I stamped one of the gorgeous pups ( I believe it is Nate) in black and cut it out with my scan n cut.  Next I sponged some purple ink over the Modern Petals Stencil onto my card panel and adhered my Boston Terrier using some foam tape.  I stamped the sentiment from Heartfelt Sayings and added a strip of striped paper.

No Line Coloring with Pretty Posies

Hello its Michelle from Seashell Creations here today with a card I made using the No Line Coloring technique and Prisma colored pencils.

I spent last week away from home and I had a card to make with limited supplies!  I took a few of my favorite CAS-Fridays stamp sets, my Prisma colored pencils and a few ink pads with me.
My card is a one layer card due to the fact that I also did not have a die cutting machine or any adhesive with me, so nice and simple today which is how I like it!

I started by stamping the three flowers in the bottom left hand corner of my top folded card with the no line fade out ink.

Next I curved the sentiment from Heartfelt Sayings onto my block and stamped it around the flowers. I colored the flowers with three different shades of purple Prisma pencils.

I finished the card off by adding some details with a white gel pen.  I also colored the little hearts in the sentiment.

Thanks for looking and I'll see you again in a few weeks!

I Just Love You!!

Hi everybody!! I can't believe its February already, feels like we've just had Christmas and already over a month has gone by. We are having an incredibly hot Summer in New Zealand (especially where I live in Blenheim) so its been hard to work in the garden, craft or do anything really apart from swim. Thank goodness for the school pool round the corner!

I've got a card to share with you today which would be great for Valentines Day or maybe just to give to a friend or loved one because they are so fabulous:

Looks can be deceiving as this is quite a flat card:

And now for the grand reveal:

Did you expect it to open like that?? This is what it looks like completely open:

This took FOREVER to put together with all the die-cutting details using the 'Lovely Link Fri-dies' and the sentiment on the outside (from 'Heartfelt Sayings') helps to open the card, with another message on the inside. I'm so happy this idea worked and for all the details on how I put this together, pop over to my blog Twine Around.

Thanks so much for stopping by, I hope I've inspired you to try out this different card design and I'll see you back here later this month with some more ideas.

Take care
Shona

Full on Floral ink blending

Hello everyone, Michelle W here today and I have an ink blended/coloured pencil card to share with you.  I stamped the gorgeous Full on Floral back ground stamp with versamark ink and white heat embossed it onto a piece of white card stock.  Then I took my trusty CP inks and blended three different colours using a blending tool.  I could have left it there because it was pretty enough, but I decided to colour a few of the flowers in using my new set of 150 Prisma pencils that Santa brought me!  And I just couldn't stop there so I went over the whole image with a shimmer pen.  I stamped the Happy Birthday sentiment from Heartfelt Sayings in black ink onto a strip of white card stock and adhered it onto my card front with dimensional tape.

A Feeling Better Card

Hi all, it's Vicki today from All I Do Is Stamp.

I have a friend who is under the weather, so I made this cute card to cheer her up.

I started with the resist technique by clear embossing the Daisy Chain border image, and then sponging ink over the top for the bottom border.  Once done, I took a paper towel and wiped off the "embossed" part. I then stamped the Little Birdies [cut them out with the Birdie Fri-Die], and water colored them.  I found the ray paper in my stash, and put the card together. My sentiment is from Heartfelt Sayings. These cute Little Birdies will cheer up my friend I'm sure.

This cute card will cheer up my friend I'm sure.

Okay, that's it for me today.  Don't forget, you can use my code to save 15% off any CFS purchase.

Happy Wednesday!

Kimberly has done it again! She has knocked my socks off with her amazing Joseph's coat technique using Floating and Heartfelt Sayings.

Here's what she said about this card...
I used Catherine's inks (catherinepooler.com) again with the Joseph's Coat technique. I fussy cut the balloon out and spritzed it with pearlized spray and adhered with foam tape. The background was partially embossed so I had room for the sentiment!

If you missed her video from last month where she showed us all how she does this cool technique, you can click HERE to check it out.

I hope you find some time to get your ink on today :)

Heart Filled with Flowers

Happy Thursday!!

I've got a really fun one layer card for you today

She used our brand new Full On Floral and Heartfelt Sayings stamps to create this...

Here's what Lisa said about her design process...
To create this one layer card I started by covering my cardbase with a negative heart mask.
I then used the Full on Floral set to stamp over the open heart area.
I used a gradient ink pad for interest.
I removed the mask and stamped my sentiment at an angle from the Heartfelt Sayings Set.
The card still felt a little plain so added some score lines along the top of the card and some distress ink around the edges.
I finished the card off with clear rhinestones, gold metallic pen, and pink sharpie.

***Full On Floral is currently sold out and will be back in stock in about 3 weeks.***
It is in stock at Simon Says Stamp while supplies last there :)
