A Feeling Better Card

Hi all, it's Vicki today from All I Do Is Stamp.

I have a friend who is under the weather, so I made this cute card to cheer her up.

I started with the resist technique by clear embossing the Daisy Chain border image, and then sponging ink over the top for the bottom border.  Once done, I took a paper towel and wiped off the "embossed" part. I then stamped the Little Birdies [cut them out with the Birdie Fri-Die], and water colored them.  I found the ray paper in my stash, and put the card together. My sentiment is from Heartfelt Sayings. These cute Little Birdies will cheer up my friend I'm sure.

This cute card will cheer up my friend I'm sure.

Okay, that's it for me today.  Don't forget, you can use my code to save 15% off any CFS purchase.

Best Day Birdies

Helllooooo!

I'm glad you're here! Vicki has created a darling card using lots of our new goodies and you are going to love it!

The cute little floral border is from our Daisy Chain. She then added more cuteness with our Little Birdies stamp set and it's companion Birdies Fri-Dies. I like the way she colored them in leaving little bits of white to still show. She could have left it alone and this point and still had a super fun card, but she wasn't done! She die cut the new Best Day Fri-Die and colored it using colors from the card.
This would be perfect for graduation, birthday or any other fun event you'd feel like sending a card for.

Embossed Vellum

Happy Saturday!

We've had gorgeous sunny weather the last couple days here in Denver.
It was in the high 70's yesterday! LOVE!
It won't last and in fact, there is a chance of snow later tonight and into Sunday.
Crazy but that's how the weather rolls in Denver.
The joke is that if you don't like the weather, wait an hour.
The bummer is when you love the weather and want to keep it! LOL!

has a vibrant and fun card today using one of our newest stamp sets...

She stamped that big fabulous sentiment from Dream Then Do on vellum
and embossed it in white.
I love the neon green embossed Daisy Chain on black cardstock!
So dramatic and cool!

Here's a closeup so you can see that cool sentiment on vellum over pattern paper.
Awesome!!

Have a great weekend!
