Happy Birthday Birdie

Hi All, its Vicki here from All I Do Is Stamp.

It's my first CFS day of 2022.  [I still am having a hard time wrapping my head around it being 2022! Excuse me, but where did 2021 go? 😀 ]

I am stocking up on my birthday cards for this year.  This card will make someone smile....

I started out with an inked panel with gold foil [love this look] for the background to the Stars A2 Panel Die, layered 3 times for depth.

I went on the stamp and die cut [Birdie Die] the cute birds from Little Birdies Stamp Set (colored with Copics). Lastly, using the Shenanigans Stamp Set, I stamped and embossed a birthday sentiment. These little birds just make me smile!

Hope your year is off to a good start!  2022 is going to be a good year~

Rainbow Cloud Background

Hello, it's Michelle here today sharing a card I made using the new Partly Cloudy Stencil and Little Birdies stamp set.

I love this stencil so much and I can't wait to play some more with it!  I thought the clouds would be a perfect background for the Little Birdies.

I started by stenciling various colors of Catherine Pooler Inks trying to stick to the colors of the rainbow.  Next I stamped and die cut the Little Birdies and colored them in with some alcohol markers and pencils.  I adhered the birdies to my background piece using some foam tape. I stamped the sentiment onto a strip of white card stock and adhered that with foam tape tucking it under the birdies feet.

Thanks for visiting and I hope I have inspired you to have some fun with rainbow colors.

Thanks

Hi All - Vicki here today from All I Do Is Stamp.

For today's card I used a few CFS products for a Thank You card that I needed.

I started with the [on clearance] Scallop Tag Dies.  I stamped, colored and die cut out the fun Little Birdies.  The Birdies Dies are HERE.

And lastly, I used the new Thanks Duo set, layering the Thanks with 3 layers for some dimension.  Turned out the way I hoped, and has been sent off to the recipient. These little birds make for a happy card.

I hope you enjoyed my card today!

Little Birdies

Hello friends, it's Michelle here today sharing a card I made using Little Birdies and Pretty Posies stamp sets.
I started by stamping the birds onto a piece of card stock and coloring in with alcohol markers and Polychromos pencils.  I added some detail using a white gel pen.  I stamped the sentiments, cut them apart and adhered them directly with some liquid glue.  Then I added some flowers along the bottom using Pretty Posies.  I already had these from a previous coloring session.  I am away from home at the moment and have limited supplies with me so they came in very handy! I had a smudge of blue ink and no eraser with me so I stamped some hearts using the little heart stamp from the Some Bunny stamp set.

I hope you like my fun colorful card and I have inspired you!

Don't Worry - Be Happy!

Hello, it's Michelle here today from Seashell Creations with a card I made using the Little Birdies stamp set and coordinating Birdie Fri-Die.

Now that I've got you singing along, here's how I went about putting my card together!

I started by stamping the birdies out with alcohol marker friendly black ink and coloring them in with some alcohol markers.  Then I added some shading with Prisma pencils and  some dots with a white gel pen.  I sponged some distress inks onto a card panel  trying to match the colors of my birdies and splattered some water.  Then I adhered the birdies with some dimensional tape.  I stamped the sentiments out and cut them out into speech bubbles so it looks like they are singing!
If you weren't singing before,  I'll bet you are now!

With so much going on in the world at the moment, I hope I've brought a smile to your face today and maybe a bit of singing!

Little Birdies with Maria

Hello CAS-ual Fridays fans!  Maria here on the blog with you today with this cute card, showcasing the Little Birdies stamp set and Birdies Fri-Dies.

Before I tell you how I made my project, I just wanted you all to know that there is a Christmas in July sale going on and the last day is tomorrow.   The Christmas items are already 40% off but if you use my coupon code below (MARIASENTME), you will get an additional 15% off.

To start, I die-cut the image on Neenah solar white card stock using the Birdies Fri-dies.  I did this because the die is a solid piece.  I used my stamping tool to stamp the image on the die-cut and colored my images in with my Spectrum Noir Alcohol markers.

I use a clouds stencil to add color on a piece of some Bristol smooth white card stock with two shades of blue distress oxide ink - Tumbled Glass and Salty Ocean.  I used a die to die-cut the colored background and foam mounted the frame onto an A2 size card base.

I die-cut the branch and leaves using some dies from my stash and adhered the pieces on my foreground.

I finished my design by adding some Bubblegum Bliss Crystal Drops.  Here's a closer look:

I hope you like my project today.  Please visit CAS-ual Fridays Stamps  to purchase the stamp and dies that I featured today.  You can also visit my blog for further details including a full list of the supplies I used.  Don't forget to use my coupon code "MARIASENTME" for 15% off your order at CAS-ual Fridays.  Happy stamping!

You are the Tweetest card

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my new CAS- ual Fridays post.
Today I am going to share a small tutorial of a card made with one single CAS- ual Fridays  Little Birdies stamp set  and it's actually one layer card (plus basic card ).

This is a kind of a Mixed Media creation as it was done with distress inks, heat embossing, water splashes and masking fluid, but finally it looks non messy and very cute.

This is the stamp set used to make this project:

Little Birdies
And here is a small tutorial I made for this card:

1. Stamp the birdies with pigmented black ink and heat emboss with black fine embossing powder.

2. Cover the stamped image with masking fluid and let it dry.

3. Make oval template that covers the card and use distress inks to ink the inside oval over the stamped and masked image.

4. Peel the masking fluid off the image as now it's like a rubber.

5. Color the birds with watercolor markers.

6. Stamp the sentiment from the same set using permanent black ink.

7. Add a drop of water to distress inks and make splashes over the card. Let it dry.

Your card is actually done. Add the base and give it to a good friend !

I hope that you like my cute friendship card and you still have time to buy yourself these gorgeous stamps from CAS- ual Fridays shop and even to use our  discounts.
