My Cup Runneth Over: A Multimedia Card

Happy Tuesday everyone!! I hope you all are having a nice morning. Nora here from A Creative Touch with a multimedia card utilizing the Serendipi-tea Stamp Set and Teapot Fri-dies.

I started off this card by creating my background. I first covered a piece of 4" x 5 1/2" piece of white cardstock with pink Distress Ink.

I covered the pink background with water and Distress Stains in three different colors: Walnut Stain, Vintage Photo and Picket Fence. I used a heat gun to dry everything and then used the Bubbly Stencil and Distress Ink over the card front.

I adhered the panel to an A2, cream colored card base and then stamped a sentiment from the Seredipi-tea Stamp Set in black.

I set the card aside and die cut two of the smallest tags from the Tag Buddies Fri-dies set and the largest pinked circle from the Pinked Slimline die set. I lightly blended brown Distress Ink over the top to give all three pieces a vintage feel. I adhered the two tags underneath the scalloped circle on the card front as shown.

For the teapot, I did a bit of masking on the stamp. I loved the hearts but it just didn't go well with the pink, polka dot pattern paper I wanted to use.  I created a mask to go over a portion of the Teapot Die using the teapot stamp from the Seredipi-tea stamp set.

I stamped the teapot with brown ink and blended some Distress Ink over the die cut. I added a pink heart die cut on the teapot cover and used some Glossy Accents over the heart. I used some foam adhesive to adhere the teapot onto the front of my card.

I added some paper flowers that I had in my stash to the bottom of the teapot. My last step was to adhere some gems in the center of my flowers and randomly across the card front.

This card was SO FUN to make and I LOVE how it turned out. Three of the products I used, the Tag Buddies, the Serendipi-tea stamp set and the Teapot dies, are all in the RETIRING sale section of the store. Use my code NORASENTME to get an extra 15% off your total order, including sale items!

That is all from me today. Be sure to pop in this week to see some projects from the other fabulous members of the design team!!! I thank you for taking the time to stop by!!

Tag Buddies Shaker Card that will Make You Smile!

Happy Tuesday!

Today Lisa has a shaker card that is sure to make you smile!
She got creative with our Tag Buddies Fri-Dies and layered 2 of them to create a cool frame that turned into a really dynamite shaker element for a fun card!

"To create this card I started by diecutting my shaker tag using two of the dies from the Tag Buddies Fri-Die Set. I then die cut the Smile Fri-die three times and layered them together for extra depth and dimension. This was all added to the front of some patterned paper. I finished my card off by stamping this hilarious sentiment from the Sassy Smiles Stamp Set."

You're smiling aren't ya *wink*
I hope you find some time to get your ink on today :)

October 8

Happy Saturday!

We introduced a whole lot of fabulous holiday sets recently,
so I was really excited to see Girl Friday Nora
use one of them in a decidedly non-holiday way!

Check this out!

She used Holly Jolly Borders to create those fun strips of pattern across the Tag Buddies Fri-Die!
She stamped them, colored them in and then snipped them apart with scissors!
I really like the fun way she added the sentiment from Shenanigans too!

All the sets she used today (and more!)
are available at a special savings in our
No code needed :)
It's just a little bit of birthday fun while supplies last.

Mark your calendars to join us on October 17th
for our special Calling All Sistahs blog hop
which will also kick off our October release!

August 20

Happy Saturday!

Today
I've got eye candy
and prize winners!
Woot Woot!!

Girl Friday Nora got inky with
Mon Ami and Mon Ami Fleur.

I really love how she used the Tag Buddy die cut as her main panel
and dressed it up with those pretty Mon Ami flowers.
The sentiment from Mon Ami looks super hanging off the edge of the tag.

I think the little bit of thread looped behind the flowers
adds a nice textural touch and it looks really pretty!

So I like to give a prize to the one of the blog hop stops too.
Just one more fun reason to join in the fun!
This month's blog stop winner is:

Now for the 3 random comments.

Day 2 of the Girlfriend Collection Release

Welcome to Day 2 of the Girlfriend Collection Release!

Yesterday we brought you amazing eye candy,
the backstory on this amazing collection,
a chance to win it
and the promise that we'd be back again today with more!

Let's get to it, shall we?
The Girl Fridays totally knocked my socks off with today's creations.
Their use of color, technique and downright creative die usage is incredible!

Angie stamped Curtis Background and then trimmed it into strips to get a fun random panel for her Friend die cut.

I'm loving the white embossed Curtis Background stamped on the Scallop Tag Fri-Dies. Then, Archana inlaid some of the flowers from Friendly Flowers for extra POW power.

Jingle has a few Friendly Flowers stems used in a fun graphic way, and she trimmed the bottoms of one of the tags to get a cool border too!
Joanna blew me away with the fabulous negative die cut pattern she created using Friendly Flowers.

Julia got creative and turned one of the Tag Buddies upside down to create a tulip!
The Sassy Smile stamp is a fabulous companion to this awesome new collection!

Kelly created a flower by using Friend as a stem, and cutting her cute petals using our Pinecone Fri-Die!

This card makes me so happy seeing a big ol' Curtis Background drizzled up in color and white embossed. Love!

Ohmygawsh!
There are so many things I want to try now!

Somebody is going to win this collection valued at $84
and today is your second chance at being that lucky somebody!
