A Rainbow of Hearts

Happy Tuesday everyone!!
Nora here from A Creative Touch with a fun way to use a cover plate die.

Cover Plate Die: Hearts A2 Panel Fri-die
Stamps: Love Notes

Step 1
My first step was to take a white, A2, top folding note card and trace the cover plate onto the
card front.

Step 2
My next step was to stencil the Love Ribbon Stencil onto the card front with Distress Ink. Make sure to erase all the pencil lines when done stenciling.

Step 3
Using the Heart A2 Cover Plate Fri-die, I die cut a layer of foam and a layer out of white cardstock.

Step 4
Using Copic markers, I colored in various sized heart die cuts using the rainbow as my inspiration.

Step 5
I then adhered the white cardstock die cut over the stenciled background

Step 6
Next I glued the white foam into inside each of the hearts.

Step 7
I adhered the the rainbow colored hearts over the top of the foam. If you look closely, I was able to use the same color on three of each heart. So there are three red hearts, three orange hearts etc...

Step 8
I stamped the XOXO sentiment from the Love Notes stamp set onto the largest heart on the
card front.

Step 9
My last step was to use an Aqua Shimmer Pen and go over each of the hearts to give them a bit of sparkle and shine.

This card took a little time but was so relaxing to create. I hope this inspires you to use your cover dies in a unique and creative way.

Hi There Hop Stuff!

Happy Tuesday!  Maria here on the blog with you today with this fun card, showcasing the Little Huggables stamp set and Little Critters fri-die with the Hearts A2 Panel fri-die.

I started by stamping the bunnies on Neenah solar white card stock with Desert Sand Memento Ink.  I colored the images with my alcohol markers and die cut using the coordinating dies.

I ink-blended an A2 size panel of Bristol smooth white card stock and used some clouds and hills stencil to create the background.  I die-cut the A2 Hearts Panel die with some white card stock and foam-mounted this panel.  I carefully inserted the bunnies and adhered using foam adhesive.

Lastly, I die-cut some hearts and stamped the sentiment on some black strip of card stock and adhered to the card.  Here's a closer look:

This card turned out so cute.  I hope you got inspired today.  Please don't forget to use my coupon code below to get 15% off your order.  Have an amazing day!

Happy Valentine's Day Shaker Card

Hello CFS fans! Maria here on the blog with you today, sharing a Valentine's Day shaker card, showcasing the Hearts A2 Panel Fri-die and the sentiment is from the Love Notes stamp set.

To begin, I started off ink-blending a rainbow background on Bristol smooth white card stock with Distress Oxide inks in Mustard Seed, Ripe Persimmon, Worn Lipstick, Peacock Feathers and Seedless Preserves.

I die-cut my ink-blended panel with the Hearts A2 Panel Fri-die.  I adhered some acetate sheet on this piece and added foam adhesive to create my shaker panel.

I added some rainbow confetti dots as my shaker element and adhered the panel on top of an A2-size black card base.

I stamped the sentiment on a black strip with versamark ink and sprinkled some white embossing powder.  I used my heating tool to heat emboss the sentiment and adhered this piece on my card with my tape runner.  Here's what it looks like:

The black background just made the rainbow panel pop.  Here's a closer look:

You have Survived.............

HELLO CRAFTY FRIENDS!!
Larissa here today to share a Dimensional Encouragement Card!!
I'm using the NEW Doing Great Stamp Set, along with the Trellis Cover Fri-Die!! I wanted to showcase the dimension of this Die Cut if you want to showcase it!!??
I personally LOVE dimension, so I KNEW I wanted to highlight it!! I Started by Die Cutting the Trellis Die from some Tonic Studios Pearl Damask Handmade Paper!! SWOON!! It's HARD to see in the photos, but this paper really makes this Die Design come to LIFE in person!! I adhered the Die Cut to my Tumbled Glass Distress Inked Background using liquid adhesive and I only applied it to the main lines of the die so I could POP the other areas up!!
I adhered a Studio Katia Iridescent Crystal in the middle of every Flower and I just LOVE the way it looks!! For my sentiment I Stamped and Embossed the NEW Doing Great Stamp Set using Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide Ink and WoW Embossing Powder in Neutral Shimmer!! The Iridescent Glitter matches with the Iridescent Crystals I added!! I wanted to add a POP of Color so I used some of the leftover Deco Foiled Heart Die Cuts that I saved from this Card that I created HERE!! I used the BEAUTIFUL Hearts A2 Panel Fri-Die that I Die Cut from some Therm O Web Deco Foil Toner Sheets that I Foiled with some of the EXCLUSIVE "Rainbow Bright" Taylored Expressions & Therm O Web Deco Foil!! I think they add the POP I was looking for and match with the Iridescent Sparkle of both the Crystals and Embossing Glitter, plus it adds a bonus Visual Triangle that I think this Design needed!! ALWAYS Save those leftovers as you never know when you might be able to use them!! Then I adhered it to the center of the Card with some Foam Tape!!
For TONS of AMAZING Inspiration make sure to visit the CAS-ual Fridays Stamps Blog and shop the New, Old and Sale Products in the CFS Shop!! You can also use my discount code LARISSASENTME to SAVE 15% off anything in the Shop!! WHOOP WHOOP!!

Happy Anniversary!!

Hello everyone!! Its my first card for 2020 and nice to not be making a Christmas card! Hope you all had a fantastic holiday, that your weather was kind and you had a chance to relax. I'm back to work tomorrow after having just under two weeks off and not looking forward to it at all.....would much rather stay home and hang out with the kids, play basketball with Max and experiment with make-up with Phoebe.

Walking through a bookstore yesterday I saw a few Valentine's cards advertised and was quite shocked as feel like I haven't gotten over Christmas yet. But it got me thinking about making some cards about love instead of them being covered in Christmas images:

I thought these pastel colours were so pretty together with the light grey and white. And love how the 'white-on-white' background adds some interest without taking away from the main image.

The background was made with the Heart A2 Panel Fri-die, the central image with the Heartboard Fri-dies and Ornament Tag Fri-dies, and the sentiment from the Ever After  stamp set. Mixing a bit of the old with the new!! To find out how I put this together you can find all in the info on my blog HERE.

Hope you've found a bit of inspiration with my design for your own Valentine's cards and I'll see you back here again later in the month with a new idea or two.

Take care
Shona
