Celebrate with a Margarita

Happy Tuesday everyone!!! Nora here from A Creative Touch. I cannot believe that it is JUNE!!!

Today I am on the blog with a card that I created with the margarita glass from the Salty stamp set and a sentiment from the Sassy Celebrations set. 

I started off this card by stamping the margarita glass with midnight ink onto a piece of kraft cardstock. 

I colored in the drink with colored pencils and used Gamsol to blend the pencil. 

Next I used a white gel pen to emphasize certain areas of my strawberry margarita.

I then added Stickles glitter glue over the sugar crystals and Glossy Accents to again emphasize areas 

on the glass.

While the margarita was drying, I stamped the "celebrate" in with pink Distress Oxide onto a scrap of white cardstock. I heat embossed over it with WOW! Clear Gloss Super Fine Embossing Powder. I then fussy cut the sentiment out.

Now that all my pieces were complete, it was time to put the card together. 

To begin, I adhered a scrap of pattern paper on the edge of a white, A2, top folding card base. 

I cut a half inch off my kraft card front and adhered it over the white card base. 

I used foam adhesive to adhere my sentiment toward the bottom of the drink and my card was complete. I have a particular friend I intend to send this card to.

Hello Crafty Friends!! 

Larissa here today with a FUN CAS Card using the NEW Salty Stamp Set & Margarita Glass Die Set that's just back in Stock!! 

I LOVE these Sets and ALL of the Possibilities!! 

 Here's what I've created for today!!

I Started by Stamping and Embossing the Margarita Glass Image from the NEW Salty Stamp Set using Versa Fine Black Onyx Ink and WoW Embossing Powder in Clear Gloss!! Then I Heat Set it with a WoW Embossing Dual Speed Tool!! 

I personally LOVE me a Blended Strawberry Margarita so that was the Look I was going for!! I Colored the Image with Copic Markers!! Margarita Glass: BG70, B72 & BG75   Blended Margarita: R000, R00, R11 & R32   Lime: G20, YG11 & YG17
Then I used the NEW Margarita Glass Die Set to Die Cut the Image out!! 

Then I added some Simon Says Stamp Unicorn Glitter to the Sugar Cubes using some Ultra Bond Adhesive!! SWOON!! The addition of the Glitter just makes me HAPPY and adds some MUCH need Texture!! 

I wanted to create a CAS Design for this Card so I decided the Stamp the Card Panel with the "I think you need a Hug, Margarita" Sentiment!! I Stamped with TE Sea Salt Ink and then Stamped the Bottom 1/3 of my Card Panel with the Help of my MISTI Stamping Tool and some Therm O Web Purple Tape to mask off the Border of the Card Panel!! Then I added some Black Soot Distress Paint Splatters and a few Trinity Stamps Fairy Rock Rhinestones finish off the Design!! I LOVE how this turned out and would make the PERFECT Card for almost any occasion!!

Margarita Shaped Gift Tags for ANY Occasion Gifts!!

Larissa here today with a FUN idea for some Shaped Gift Tags using the NEW Salty Stamp Set & Margarita Glass Die Set!! I LOVE these Sets and ALL of the Possibilities!!

SUPER FUN Right!!?? I LOVE the Sentiments that are PERFECT for either the Outside or the Inside of your Cards/Tags too!! Here's what I've created for today!!

Then in order to create the FUN Shaped Tags, I cut some Cardstock in Half making sure that there was enough room to Die Cut the Margarita Glass Die with the Fold at the Top in order to create the Margarita Tag Shape!! SWOON!! I LOVE how this turned out and would make the PERFECT Gift for a Birthday, Anniversary, House Warming Gift, Wedding Shower, Thinking or Missing You Gift!! The possibilities are ENDLESS here!!

Happy New Year Release Day 2

Happy New Year!! 2021 Woo Hoooooo!

Today we start a brand new year and please oh please let it be a good one. 

We are releasing brand new products to celebrate 2021 and to delight you our fabulous customers and friends. Yesterday we had Champagne and today it's Margaritas!

Introducing Salty 4x6 stamp set and Margarita Glass die set. 

I had so much fun illustrating this happy margarita and putting these sentiments into this set, I laughed a lot! You are going to have a lot of fun creating with these sets. I have visions of the salt rim die cut done in glitter paper. Wouldn't that be fantastic?
