What Would I Do Without You

It's CAS-ual Fridays day today, and also the voting I talked about a couple of weeks ago.

For today's card, I used Terrific Flowers, Everyday Dragonflies and Heart to Heart stamp sets.

I started by embossing the Heart To Heart stamp onto a water color paper panel with white embossing powder.  I then added some paint with a wet on wet technique. [spray panel with water/ add water to paint] 

Once dry, I adhered it onto a card base and added the dragonfly and sentiment to the card.  I like this sentiment - it's real.

Okay, voting time!  Which one do I give my husband?

 My Heart?

 or

 Without You?

Artistic Trading Cards

Hi All, it's Vicki with today's project.  Today I went for a few ATC's [Artist Trading Cards].  While these normally are made to be traded, I make mine just for fun.

I started with a sheet of card stock 6x8 and penciled off 3" x 2" squares.  I stamped and clear embossed the music sheet from Love Notes covering all of the penciled squares.

Once embossed, I started sponging on a few colors from the Catherine Pooler Carnival inks, and did some stamping with the Heart to Heart stamp for a semi black background.  I then cut the ATC's to size [3x2].  I ended up using the 4 from the middle of my master sheet.  I liked the embossed image the most on the middle four.

Using the Heart Note Dies, I cut 3 of each in black card stock, and the top layer in blue, and glued all together.  I like how sturdy these added embellishments turned out.

That's it for today.  Do you ever make ATC's?  They are like making a mini card front.  Really fun for a change.

Happy Valentine's Day With an I Love You Card

Happy Valentine's Day!!! Nora here from A Creative Touch on the blog today with a love card to celebrate the day. 

I started off this card by stamping the Heart to Heart Stamp onto white cardstock with WOW! Clear Embossing Ink. I then heat embossed the hearts with WOW! Superfine White Embossing Powder. 

I then used Distress Spray Stain in pinks and reds over the front of the embossed card front. When the front was dry, I die cut the front into a rectangle. I adhered the negative and positive onto a white card front.

I die cut a tag using the Tag Buddies Fri-dies out of white cardstock. I used foam adhesive to adhere the tag to the card front.

I pulled out some foam glitter hearts that I had in my stash and adhered them to the card front. You could use the Heart Board Fri-dies to die cut embellishments instead. 

To finish off my card, I masked off a sentiment from Ever After Stamp Set and stamped it with WOW! Clear Embossing Ink. I heat embossed the sentiment using pink Distress Embossing Glaze. I fussy cut the sentiment and adhered it under the glitter hearts with foam adhesive.

Hi all - it's Vicki here today from All I Do Is Stamp.

Today I went with a semi Valentine's Day card using the [so fun] Little Huggables cat image, along with the matching Little Critters Die.

For my background, I used the Heart to Heart background stamp, and colored it with Copics.

These cute kitties just make me smile.  I hope it does for the recipient too. 😀

I'm Thinking of You!!

Hello Crafty Friends!! 

Larissa here today to share a SWEET Thinking of You Card!! 

As we head into this Holiday Season most likely not being able to spend them with our extended Family and Friends to CELEBRATE the MANY Joys of the Holidays I thought a Thinking of You Card would would be PERFECT to send to those that you're Missing and Thinking About!! 

I wanted to use the BRIGHT Red Color for a Holiday Feel and the Adorable Friday Image really SPEAKS to the feeling of Thinking of You!! Don't you agree!!?? 
Let's get started!! 

I Started by Stamping and Embossing the Heart to Heart Background Image onto my White Cardstock Card Panel!! I lined it up as far to the left hand side as I could and Stamped with WoW Embossing Ink!! Then I covered the Embossed Image with my FAVORITE WoW Red Glitz Embossing Glitter!! I heat set it using my WoW Dual Speed Heat Embossing Tool!! SWOON!! 

It's so STUNNING in real life!! 

I Die Cut a Circle from some White Cardstock and Stamped and Embossed the Friday Image from the Nate & Friday Stamp Set using Versa Fine Black Onyx Ink and WoW Clear Gloss Embossing Powder!! Then Heat Set it using my WoW Dual Speed Heat Embossing Tool!! Then I used Copic Markers to Color in the Image!! I used Friday: E11, E13 & E99  Inside of Ears & Cheeks: R00 Then I added some Nuvo Drops in Black to the Nose and some Red Glitter to the Heart on Friday's Chest!! I adhered the White Cardstock Circle to a Black Cardstock Scalloped Circle Die Cut once the Nuvo Drops were dry!! Then adhered it to the Embossed Card Panel!! 

I Stamped and Embossed the "I'm Thinking of You" Sentiment from the Pretty Posies Stamp Set onto a piece of Black Cardstock with WoW Embossing Ink     and then added some WoW Bright White Embossing Powder and heat Set it!! Then I added it to the bottom of the Circle using some Foam Tape!! I added some Red Metallic Sequins along with some Iridescent Jewels for some added Sparkle and Shine!! 

I LOVE how this turned out and think this Card would be an EASY one to Mass Produce to send to all of those that you maybe MISSING this Holiday Season!!
