Make a Wish

Hi All it's Vicki here, from All I Do Is Stamp, today. I am happy to share my card. I had so much fun making this card, and, I used a few stamps sets to do it!

I started with a [self made] mini slimline card base, and put it in my MISTI.  Being careful to line it up against the edge, I stamped the first make a wish from ShenanigansI moved the base down by 1" [in my MISTI] and re-stamped the rest of the line up.

Once that was done, I had a little to much space in between the stamping so I grabbed the heart from Sassy Smiles Duo, and stamped that the same way. I still felt I had to much open space, so I grabbed the its your birthday... sentiment from Whole Shebang, and stamped that down the card.

Using WTF2, I used the [cut it apart] HB and stamped that on a separate card strip and adhered it in the center, after drawing a self frame.

I enjoyed making this card - I hope you enjoyed seeing it!

Who Totally Forgot?-A Belated Birthday Card

Hello Crafty Friends!!! It is Nora here from A Creative Touch with a belated birthday card.

I started off this card by stenciling different purple inks onto a 4" by 5 1/4" white piece of cardstock. I then used the Chunky Chevron Stencil and stenciled over each circle with the same color ink.

I then adhered the stenciled panel over the top of a top folding, A2 sized purple card base.

I stamped the Full on Floral Stamp in purple ink on an ink smooshed panel done in purples.

I then used circle punches to punch out different kinds of circles. I adhered these circles randomly around the front of the card. Some I adhered with foam adhesive and others I used a tape runner.

My last step was to stamp a sentiment using the WTF2, in purple, on a white strip of cardstock.

I used foam adhesive to adhere it to my card front and it was DONE.

Happy Belated Birthday

Hi all - it's Vicki here today from All I Do Is Stamp.  For today's card I used a few products.
Here is the end result:

I used the Tin Roof Cover Plate, Friend Word Fri-Die, Happy Fri-Die,Coffee Cup Fri-Dies, Scallop Tag Fri-Dies, Happy Hanukkah Fri-Dies and the WTF2 Stamp set.  I am basically creating a new category of birthday cards since apparently I can not seem to get them mailed out on time! ;)

For the background, I cut the cover plate out, leaving all the pieces in the cut card stock, then sponged on some pretty rainbow colors.  Having the full sheet made sponging much easier!  [Yeah, I suppose I could of simply sponged a card panel THEN cut out the cover plate but that is to easy I guess. HA!]

When I punched out the negative pieces, I really liked the look so I made a matching tag/bookmark for the recipient.  I like the matched look, along with the giving of a small gift in the card.

That's it for my project today.

See ya next time~

Colorful Embossing on Dark Cardstock

Happy Saturday!! Nora here from A Creative Touch on the blog today with a birthday card that uses a ton of embossing.

I am going to confess that I have a love/hate relationship with embossing. No matter how hard I try, I get powder EVERYWHERE. However, over the years, I have accumulated a ton of different embossing powders so I decided to try something new for me-embossing on black cardstock.

Stamps: WTF 2 and Bomb Diggity

I started off this card stamping the number 50 from the WTF 2 stamp set onto black cardstock and  heat embossing each in a bright colored, opaque embossing powder. Don't have colored embossing powder? This could also be done with any metallic-gold, silver, copper-and look just as fabulous.

I adhered the piece of black cardstock to a white, A2, top folding card front. I stamped the "fabulous" sentiment using Bomb Diggity onto white cardstock and heat embossed it with black embossing powder. I then fussy cut it for more emphasis. I kind of played with it on the black background and decided I needed something more for it to pop. I wound up cutting strips of rainbow colored paper scraps and adhered them to the bottom of the card front.

I then adhered a hash tag sticker and popped up "fabulous" with foam adhesive.

All my friends are turning fifty this year so I am going to make a bunch of these cards to send out. It was easy and fast to create and I think, packs a punch.

Here are links to the WTF 2 and Bomb Diggity in the CAS-ual Fridays Store. Don't forget to use my code NORASENTME to get 15% off your total order.

I thank you for stopping by. Have a FABULOUS day!!

WTF (In 3-D!)

Hello there!   Kimberly here today with a really fun (and slightly snarky) birthday card to share with you!   I've used the very clever WTF 2 stamp set for this card.   I started by repeatedly stamping the large WTF with purple shades from Catherine Pooler's ink line.    I overlapped the words so they have a kind of 3D effect.
For the focal piece, I stamped the large WTF once again and fussy cut it out.   I added color with the same CP inks and an ink blending tool.   To get that awesome shiny, glittery finish I covered the entire piece with Versamark ink and then heat embossed it with glitter embossing powder.   I adhered this piece right over top of one of the stamped images with foam tape.
I love that the full sentiment is revealed on the inside of the card!!   Such a fun card for a belated birthday!  I hope you've enjoyed today's card.   I've linked the stamp set used below, as well as a discount code you can use if you'd like to grab this set (or any other goodies) for yourself!    See you again soon!

Belated

Have you ever missed a birthday? They have a habit of sneaking up on me. I think I need to put reminders in my calendar 2 weeks in advance so I can plan better. This card from Shona is perfect for those missed occasions. She used Bold Wishes with a sentiment from our WTF2.

"I stamped the flowers from Pretty Posies with Chipped Sapphire Distress Ink and coloured with a water brush, using a little Seedless Preserves for a purple highlight. I used one of the Ornamental Tag Fri-dies to cut the vellum, heat embossed a sentiment from Bold Wishes and stamped another sentiment from WTF2 in Navy."

October Release Day 1

It's time for our October Release!!
We have 4 super awesome stamp sets to debut this week, and they'll ALL be available in the store for you on Saturday!
Each day we'll show you a new stamp set, lots of jaw dropping creativity using the new set, and there will be many chances to win prizes too!

5 years ago we had our first ever release. The first ever stamp set to make its debut was called WTF. I promise you it was a totally rated G stamp set! I have always referred to 40 and 50 as the f-word birthdays so this set was a very tongue in cheek set that made for a lot of awesome 40 and 50 year old birthday cards. Last year it retired and I know a lot of you were sad, but I had a master plan *grin*
Next year I will turn 50...ug! I think I'm pretty hip, fun and sassy, so I wanted a hipper, funner (I know that's not really a word) sassier looking version of WTF.
Please welcome the redesigned version of the original classic, WTF 2!

This funny set will absolutely get an initial gasp but it should be quickly followed by laughter.
A bold and funky font adds a little whimsy to the set and will give you lots of options to get creative in decorating it. The inclusion of the word somethin' will make it easy for you to make a birthday card for any one of the 40 or 50 birthdays. You can also use it as a congratulations card with the WOW that's fantastic, or it could also be used for forgotten birthdays of any age with the Who totally forgot sentiment. This is a stamp set you'll have a lot of fun using and a lot of fun gifting too :)
Let's see this baby in action!
