Thinking of You!!

HELLO CRAFTY FRIENDS!!

Larissa here today to share a Thinking of You Card!! I've got a few friends who are battling Cancer and I like to send Cards just to let them know I'm thinking of them!! Especillay during these unusual times when no visitors are allowed in the treatment centers or around those with already compromised immune systems!! I LOVE that CAS-ual Fridays Stamps has these AMAZING Products to help create Cards!! Here's what I've create for today!
I Started by Stamping and Embossing the Word Ribbon onto some Distress Watercolor Paper and the Pretty Posies Flower!! I used Distress Oxide Ink in Worn Lipstick to Ink over the entire Ribbon and then add some Water Splatters for some Texture!! I used Copic Markers to Color the Pretty Posie in RV00, RV04 & RV09!! I Die Cut the Pretty Posie out using the coordinating Posies Fr-Dies Then I added a Flower Die Cut from the   Die Set and added a Sparkling Clear Sequin and a Pearl in the center!! I Die Cut the Word Ribbon Image out using the Ruffled Ribbon Die and I wanted to the Word Ribbon to POP up off the Card Panel so I layered 5 Cardstock Ruffled Ribbon Die Cuts from some Pink Cardstock and glued them all together!!

For the Background I Inked with Hickory Smoke Distress Oxide Ink and then I added some Water splatters and some Distress Black Soot Paint Splatters!! I also wanted to add some Hickory Smoke Splatters so I used the Splatter Images from the Bomb Diggity Stamp Set!! I like the way that they ground the Ribbon!! A few more Pearls were added around the Ribbon and then I added a Stamped and Embossed a Sentiment on the inside of the Card and wrote my personal message and my Card was done!! I hope you'll remember to keep those going through medical challenges on your list of HAPPY MAIL recipients as I KNOW first hand those are some of the most meaningful Cards to receive!!

Happy Anniversary Card

Hello my crafty friends! Maria here on the blog with you today.  A friend of mine asked me to create an anniversary card for his wife so it's all about flowers and anniversaries today!

For today's card, I am showcasing the Pretty Posies stamp set and Posies Fri-Die.

I started by stamping the images on some vellum with versamark ink.  I sprinkled some white embossing powder and heat-set with my heating tool.

I die-cut the flowers using the coordinating dies.  I flipped the cut images on the other side and used my alcohol markers to color them in.  I set them aside to dry and started working on my background.

I die-cut an A2 size panel of white card stock and used some dye inks and blending brush to lightly color the background.  I pressed the same ink pad onto an acrylic block and added some water.  I used my paint brush to splatter some color on my background for a more cohesive look, and added texture.

I adhered the vellum flowers on the card using my Xyron sticker maker and some foam adhesive for added dimension.

To finish my design, I stamped the sentiment with Versafine Onyx Black ink and added the Sparkling Hearts droplets on the card.  Here's another look:

Pretty Posies and Zig Real Brush Markers

Hello, it's Michelle here today from Seashell Creations with a card I made using my favorite floral stamp set!  I never tire of Pretty Posies and I find myself reaching for it whenever I feel like colouring.  Today I did some water colouring with my Ziggies on water colour card stock.

First I started by stamping my images with Versamark ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder.  Then I chose 2 yellows and 1 orange Zig markers.   I started by colouring the whole flower with the lightest yellow and then I went in with the darker yellow and finally just a touch of the orange.

I die cut all my images with the coordinating Posies Fri-Dies and arranged them onto my card panel.  Once I had them where I wanted,  I adhered them directly onto the card panel and popped the top one up with foam tape for a bit of dimension.

I stamped the sentiment from "Bold Wishes" stamp set and adhered the panel to a top folding card with foam tape.

A Simple Thank You using Pretty Posies

Hi everyone!! Nora here from  A Creative Touch. I hope everyone is remaining happy and healthy during this unprecedented time. One of the things I have been trying to do is COLOR. It relieves stress and when I used stamped images, I can make cards with them when I want to.

Today I created a simple thank you card where the colored flowers from Pretty Posies are the
main event.

Stamps: Pretty Posies and Foxy

I began my card by stamping my flowers and a leaf from Pretty Posies with a Copic safe, black ink and then colored in my images using Copic markers. I never wound up coloring the leaf as I decided I was not going to need it for the design I had in mind.

My next step was to use the matching Posies Fri-dies to die cut each of the stamped images.

While I was die cutting, I also die cut a background out of gray cardstock using the Trellis Cover Die. I love this die because you can use it to emboss or as a die cut. It stayed together nicely so I decided to use it to emboss my cardstock. I then cut my embossed panel in half.

I then started fooling around with the stamped images to figure out what I wanted to use. When I found what looked good to me, I stamped my sentiment using the "thank you" from the Foxy stamp set.

I adhered the Trellis die cut down and the large flower over it. I then popped up the smaller flower using foam adhesive.

My last steps were to cover the flower centers with a bit of shimmer and add some purple rhinestones around the sentiment.

I hope this inspires you to dig out your blooms and make them the star of your card!!

Sunflower Hello

Hi everyone!! It is Nora here from A Creative Touch with a fall card. I know, I know, most are in holiday mode but I had to do one last fall card while my creative juices were flowing.

Stamps: Hearty Horse
Dies: Sweet Friends and Posies Fri-dies

Okay, you are probably wondering, how did I use the Hearty Horse stamps on this? I used the small, solid heart to create my yellow petals!!!

I created a different flower during the release using that same heart but knew I wanted to try to make a sunflower for a future project. I love looking at the tiny stamps in sets and use them in creative ways on my cards. It extends the use of a stamp set.

I started off by stenciling the brown flower centers onto white cardstock. I created the stencil by punching a circle out of a piece of copy paper. I then stamped multiple layers of the hearts, in yellow dye ink, to create the feathery petals. Next I used the petal from the Posies Fri-dies and made another stencil out of copy paper. I used this home made stencil to blend green dye ink to create the leaves on my background. To make the panel a bit more rustic, I used brown ink to blend around the outside to tone down the bright white.

I die cut the panel, splattered it with some Distress Stain, and when that dried, mounted it onto an A2, top-folding, brown card base.

I used the Sweet Friends Fri-dies to die cut the "hello" out of white cardstock. I used yellow ink to blend the bottom of the sentiment, giving it an ombre look.

I layered the sentiment over a matted, white blended rectangle and the card was complete.

I know that often my cards use the smaller stamps in a set but like I said, it is so fun to create unexpected things by looking at your stamps in a different way. If I can do it, anyone can because I am not one to look outside of the box.
