Courage Now, Tomorrow and Always for Childhood Cancer Awareness Month!!

Hello Crafty Friends!! 

Larissa here today and I can hardly believe that September is half over!! 

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month to bring awareness to childhood cancer, which remains the leading cause of death by disease for children under the age of 14!! So today my Card was made to HONOR ALL of those Kids battling Cancer or those who are in remission!! You're ALL AMAZING and your Courage and Strength is VERY INSPIRING!! 

I Started by creating my Background Panel!! I inked with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink and added some Water Splatters and Black Soot Distress Paint Splatters along with some Nuvo Midas Touch Shimmer Pen Splatters!! I LOVE the addition of even more Sparkle in the background!! Then I Stamped and Embossed the Sentiments!! The Courage Word is from a Discontinued (Powerful Words) CAS-ual Fridays Stamp Set, but I figured several of you probably have it and LOVE it as much as I do so I'm using it anyway to hopefully INSPIRE you to give some of your older sets some much need use too!! 

You can use ANY Sentiment here and there are SEVERAL Word Dies that would be PERFECT as well!! Like the Hope Fri-Die or even the Just Breath Fri-Die!! I Stamped with Vera Fine Black Onyx Ink and Embossed with WoW Clear Gloss Embossing Powder!! Then I Stamped and Embossed again with WoW Embossing Ink and this time I Embossed with WoW Bright White Embossing Powder!! 

I Stamped the Ballerina Image from the Tutu Stamp Set with WoW Embossing Ink and then applied the NEW WoW Picnic Basket Embossing Glitter!! Yellow is the Color associated with Childhood Cancer so that's why I've chosen to use the Yellow Color!! Then I used the coordinating Ballerina Fri-Dies to Die Cut the Image out!! Then I adhered it to the top of the Courage Sentiment using some Foam Tape!! 

I added some Jewels for even more Sparkle and then adhered the Card Panel to a NND Scalloped Rectangle Die Cut from some TE Oreo Cardstock!! I adhered it to a Crate Paper Patterned Paper Cardbase using Foam Tape for some dimension and mt Card was done!! I LOVE the way it turned out and I just KNOW it'll make the recipient Abby's Day as she's CELEBRATING 5 Years of Remission after enduring 2 1/2 years of treatments for High Risk A.L.L. Pre B Cell Leukimia!! She's a ROCK STAR and I hope she knows how AMAZING she is Now, Tomorrow and Always!! 💛

Thinking of You Card to make someone SMILE!!

Hello Crafty Friends!! 

Larissa here today to share a SWEET thinking of You Card!! I'm using one of my FAVORITE Sets Called Nate & Friday along with giving you a SNEAK PEEK of a NEW Set coming NEXT WEEK!! The Sentiment is from that set and I hope you'll join us next week for ALL of the FUN and Inspiration!! 

I started by creating a Patterned Paper Background!! I used some Aged Mahogany and Gathered Twigs Distress Inks to Ink the Edges of the Panel!! Then a added some Black Soot Distress Paint for some texture!! 

Next I Stamped and Embossed the Image using Versa Fine Black Onyx Ink and WoW Clear Gloss Embossing Powder!! I LOVE the extra Texture that the Embossing Gives to the Image!! It really makes it POP!! I added some Tonic Studios Glitter Nuvo Drops to the Heart on his chest and some Black Gel Pen to his Nose, along with some White Gel Pen details for highlights!!

 I Stamped and Embossed the Sentiment in WoW Glitter Embossing Powder to coordinate with the Nuvo Glitter Drops I added to the Heart!! I Die Cut a Black Banner and adhered it behind the Sentiment Banner that I inked with the same Aged Mahogany and Gathered Twigs Distress Inks to help tie it all together!! Then I adhered it using 3D Foam Squares!! A Few Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear Sequins were added and I added some Tonic Studios Morning Dew Nuvo Drops and Red Glitter Drops to add even more interest!! I LOVE the way it turned out!!

With Brave Wings She Flies!!

Hello Crafty Friends!! 

Larissa here today with an A2 Card and coordinating A2 Envelope using the SWEET Angel Image from the NEW Flower Angel Stamp Set!! I Stamped and Embossed the Image and then used Copic Markers to Color it in!! (Flowers and Arms: RV00, RV11 & RV34  Wings: N0, N2 & N4   Face: E00, E11, E13   Cheeks: RV11  Hair: E31, E33 & E37)

I then added some Nuvo Shimmer Pen to the Wings to make them Sparkle and covered them with some Morning Dew Nuvo Drops for some Shine and Dimension!! I added some Pearl Nuvo Drops to the center of ALL of the Flowers and I LOVE the way it looks!! Gold Metallic Gel Pen was added to the Halo for added Shine too and some White Gel Pen highlights finish off the Image!! 

I LOVE these finishing touches as I feel like the really help make the Image come to life!! I Stamped and Embossed the Sentiment "With Brave Wings She Flies" onto and strip of Cardstock and then added it to the Card Panel using Foam Tape!! I backed the Panel with some TE Oreo Cardstock and then Die Cut a Scalloped Frame from some TE Toffee Cardstock!! I then adhered the A2 Panel to a Cardbase Cut from some TE Strawberry Milkshake Cardstock!! 

For the coordinating Envelope I Stamped and Embossed the CAS-ual Fridays Full On Floral Stamp Set which coordinates with these GORGEOUS Angel Image perfectly!! Using Versa Fine Black Onyx Ink and some WoW Clear Gloss Embossing Powder onto the Flap of the TE Envelope that coordinates with TE Strawberry Milkshake Cardstock that I used for the Cardbase!!

Sneak Peek of the NEW "Snow Angel" Stamp Set coming Thanksgiving Day!!

Larissa here today to share a SNEAK PEEK of the NEW "Snow Angel" Stamp Set that will be available on Thursday Nov. 27th!!

So for my Card today I wanted to create an Encouragement Card for a SWEET friend who's battling Uterine Cancer!! This Lil' Snow Angel is PERFECT for so many occasions!!

 

 I wanted a BEAUTIFUL Sparkling Snowflake background to go along with both the Snow Angel Image and the Sentiment I wanted to use on my Card!! I Started by Inking my Background using some Distress Ink in Royal Velvet!! I added some Water Droplets for some Texture and then used an Anti-Static Tool to run over my entire Panel!! I Stamped and Embossed Several of the Snowflake Images from both the Joy and Sugar Plum Fairy Stamp Sets using Versa Mark Embossing Ink then I Embossed them with WoW Glitter Embossing Powder in Fools Gold!! It's a STUNNING Gold Embossing Powder with a Mauve/Rose Gold Glitter!! In real life its just GORGEOUS!! I added some White and Black Paint Splatters using some Distress Paint in Black Soot and Picket Fence!! Then I added some Shine and Dimension to several of the Snowflake Centers using Pretty Pink Posh Snowflake Sequins and some Tonic Studios Nuvo Glitter Drops in Summer Sunrise!! I Stamped and Embossed the Word Ribbon Image and then Die Cut it out using the Ruffled Ribbon Fri Dies!! I used WoW Gold Pearl Glitter Embossing Powder and I just LOVE the look against those Snowflakes!! I really brings out the delicate detail of the Snowflake Images!!

I Stamped ans Embossed the NEW "Snow Angel" Image and Colored it on using Copic Markers!! I used (Skin: E00, E11 & E13  Cheeks: RV11  Hair: E31, E33 & E37  Halo: YR23  Robe: RV00, RV11 & RV34  Wings: W0, W2 & W5)  I added Glitter Nuvo Drops in Summer Sunrise to the center of the Snowflakes on her Robe and then I Stamped and Embossed the sentiment onto some Black Cardstock and Embossed it with some WoW Embossing Powder in White!! I added some White Pigment ink to the outside edges of the Sentiment strip to make it not as harsh against my background and then add some more Glitter Nuvo Drops to the center of the Snowflakes!! I used some Foam Tape to add the Ribbon, Angel and Sentiment strip onto my card and I just LOVE the way it turned out!!

You Are Fabulous!!

Hello Crafty Friends!! 

Larissa here today to share a BEAUTIFUL Floral Card!! 

I'm LONGING for SPRING!! We've still been getting snow and I want Flowers!! So for my Card I decided to use the BEAUTIFUL Pretty Posie Stamp Set and the coordinating Posies Fri Dies along with the Sentiment from the Bomb Diggity Stamp Set!! 

I Stamped and Embossed all of the Images and colored them with Copic Markers and then added some Tonic Studios Aqua Shimmer Pen along with some Morning Dew Nuvo Drops to the center of the Flowers!! For the Base of my Card I used a Stencil to create the Blue Pattern with some Stormy Sky Distress Ink and then added some Black Soot Distress Paint Splatters and some Tonic Studio Glitter Pen Splatters for some extra Sparkle!! I Stamped and Embossed the You are.. Sentiment onto a Small Heart Die Cut using Cranberry and Ballet Slipper Lawn Fawn Inks for an Ombre` look and Embossed it using some WoW Neutral Shimmer Glitter Embossing Powder!! Then added it along with the Colored Pretty Posie Images to the Front of the Card using foam tape to add some Dimension to the Flowers and Layered Heart!! I left the Leaves more flat using Liquid Glue to adhere them directly to the cardbase!!  

A few Studio Katia Iridescent Drops finish it off!! 

For the inside of the Card I Stamped and Embossed the Fabulous Sentiment using Cranberry and Ballet Slipper Lawn Fawn Inks for an Ombre` look and Embossed it using some WoW Neutral Shimmer Glitter Embossing Powder!! 

I hope this gets you in the MOOD for Spring Flowers too, and maybe makes you feel the warmth of the Sun rather than that Cold Snow of Winter!!??

Hello Crafty Friends!! 

Larissa here today to share a FUN Holiday Card!! I've always LOVED the look of White Die Cut Word backgrounds!! Then a focal Image in the center!! Here's what I've created!! 

This is such a BEAUTIFUL Set!! There are SO MANY options too!! 

 I KNOW if you're like me Holiday Gifts and Cards are on your mind and I LOVE to give Gift Cards for the Holidays to Special People in our lives!! I think its FUN to include them inside Special Cards!! I Started by Die Cutting the Tag from the Tag Buddies Fri-Dies Set!! I Die Cut the largest one from some Lawn Fawn Patterned Paper and then Die Cut the Smaller one from some White Cardstock!! I inked the background of the White Cardstock with some Tumbled Glass and Lucky Clover Distress Ink to match the same hue as the Patterned Paper!! I wanted it to be lighter though!! Added some Water Droplets for some texture and then added the Mistletoe Image I that I Stamped, Embossed and Die Cut out!! I color it with Copic Markers and added some Silver Glitter Gel Pen to the berries for a shadow!! I used Tonic Studios in Morning Dew to add dimension and Shine to the Berries and the Red Bow!! I Red Seam Binding Bow adds the PERFECT finishing touch!! 

For the Cardbase I Die Cut the Kiss-Mas Words from white cardstock and covered the Cardbase with the Die Cuts!! I Layered the Tag Focal Point and my Card was done!!
