It's Time to Party-Stretching your Supplies

Hello everyone!! It is Nora here on the blog today with a Halloween card that I created with non-Halloween supplies!

I started off my card by spraying Distress Stain in green and purple Distress Mica Stain on a white panel measuring 4" by 5 1/4."

I wrapped some orange twine around the panel and adhered it to an A2 5 1/2" by 4 14"  white card base. I then adhered three squares that I had die cut out of scraps of pattern paper.

I set the card aside to work on my pumpkins. I used the Pinked Slimline small circle to die cut circles out of orange scraps of pattern paper. 

I then used the Swirls Stencil to mark faces on the pumpkins. I used enamel drops to fill the faces in. I did make a mistake on one pumpkin BUT I fixed it by just drawing the enamel out to make "lashes." 

While the dots dried, I die cut "stems" using the Heart Note Dies.  I just die cut specific pieces of the notes to use that I thought looked like stems. I adhered the "stems" onto the top of my pumpkins when the enamel dried. I used foam adhesive to adhere the three pumpkins to the black squares that were on the card front.

My last step was to find a sentiment. I didn't have one that said "Happy Halloween" so I decided to use the "it's time to party!" sentiment from Sassy Celebrations stamp set. It was the PERFECT size for my card. I stamped it with black ink onto a white paper strip. I used foam adhesive to adhere it to my card front, over the twine. I then tied a bow.

My card was complete and I personally LOVE how it came out. I will be sending it, with a box of goodies, to one of my cousins for Halloween.

Spooky Cute!

Lisa here and I've got some more Spooky for you today!  I had some more of those gel prints I made using the Chunky Chevron stencil.

I stamped the spiders onto some of the gel print paper with a bright pink, but decided so they'd show up a little bit more on that cool background I decided to outline them with a micro liner pen and then used gel pen to whiten their eyes.  I also stamped a few of the smaller ones onto the background.

I stamped the Spooky word in black and then colored in the letters in pink and orange.  I fussy cut it out and popped it up onto the background.

Then I popped the big spiders onto it and added a few sequins!

That's it for today!  I love these colors for Halloween.

Simple Halloween Card with the Spooky Stamp Set

Hello my crafty friends!  I hope you are all doing well.  Halloween is almost upon us and I wanted to create a simple card today showcasing the Spooky stamp set, along with the Pinked Slimline Dies.

I started by die-cutting some Bristol smooth white card stock using the second of the largest die from the Pinked Slimline die set.  I inked up this panel with Spiced Marmalade, Wilted Violet, Salty Ocean, Faded Jeans and Black Soot distress oxide inks.

I splattered some black watercolor on the panel and picked up the excess with my paper towel.  

Next, I stamped the sentiment "spooky" with some Versamark ink and sprinkled some white embossing powder, then heat-set using my Wagner heating tool.   I did the same steps for the spider webs and spiders to make them stand out.

I die-cut some black card stock using the biggest die from the Pinked Slimline die set and to mat my colored panel and adhered both pieces on a slimline card base.  Easy Peasy!

Sparkling Boo Halloween Card!!

HELLO CRAFTY FRIENDS!! 

Larissa here today to share a SPARKLEY BOO Card using the NEW Spooky Stamps Stamp Set and the Pinked Slimline Die Set!! Here's what I've created for today!! 

(NOTE: the Slimline Dies are OUT OF STOCK, but will be back SOON!!)

I Stated by Die Cutting the the Black Cardstock Slimline Panel and Inked with some Milled Lavender and Wilted Violet Distress Oxide Inks to create a GLOW behind where I wanted to Stamp and Emboss the BOO Sentiment!! I dried it with my Heat Tool and then added some Non-Static Powder to make sure the Embossing Powder would only apply to the Sentiment once I Stamped it!! 

Next I Stamped the BOO Sentiment with WoW Embossing Ink and then I Embossed with the NEW WoW Embossing Sugar Almond Embossing Powder using the WoW New Dual Speed Heat Embossing Tool!! SWOON!! I LOVE the Lavender Color and the Iridescent Glitter Shine!! It's just STUNNING in person!! I added some Black Soot and Picket Fence Distress Paint Splatter and then some Rose Quartz Shimmer Pen Splatters for some texture and dimension!! 

I added some Wiggly Eyes from Studio Katia in two different sizes to the Spiders!! SQUEAL!! They are too CUTE!! 

I Stamped the Spider Web Images using the Distress Oxide Inks first in Milled Lavender and then again with Wilted Violet!! I Die Cut some Doodlebug Patterned Paper using the Pinked Die and then added the Panel to the White Slimline Cardbase!! I LOVE the way it turned out!!
