Shenanigans: 1 panel, many looks!

Happy Tuesday!

I don't think there is a person on the planet who wouldn't like to receive a b-day card with a sentiment like this one...

Wanna see a whole bunch of  awesome things this sentiment panel can do? Hold on to your socks!!!
Kelly made a dozen of these sentiment panels, and then paired them up with patterned papers and embellishments to create a set of a dozen birthday cards.
The sentiment panel uses Shenanigans, Calm and Gentle, Mon Ami.
She added more awesome sets to this cool panel to vary the look for the type so you'll get to see lots of CAS-ual Fridays goodness in this post! Buckle up peeps, here we go!

Have you seen our Lovely Links Fri-Dies? It is so pretty, lovely really, and one of the fun facts about it is that it cuts out more than a dozen little hearts to use on other projects all in one cut! Isn't that lovely?!

A little striped paper, a little strip of glitter, a lot of look in a simple but super fun card!

You don't always have to put the cute sentiment panel at the bottom, put some fun paper on the card base, add a few fun elements and stick that bad boy at the top!

Ok, now that paper is just darned cute! I love how she handwrote the amazing into the crossword puzzle :)

This one might be my favorite! I love the cute leaves from Acorn Fri-Dies strung onto the Linked Fri-Dies cut. So fun!!

Oh...but I really love this one too! I am a sucker for a pretty ribbon tied onto a card!

There is that Lovely Links Fri-Die again! This time she added darling die cuts from Posies and Friendly Flowers Fri-Dies and stamped them with Pretty Posies and Girlfriend, and then added a glitter paper die cut from Casual Trees Fri-Dies. (Don't tell the other cards, but I think this one might actually be my fav!)

Um, ya...this is super cute too! I love that she took a big ol star from Stars Fri-Dies and stamped it with Twinkle. Cute!!

another cute but simple card using Linked Fri-Dies and a fun pattern paper!

Friendly Flowers on Flurry Fri-Dies? Yes Please!!!!

So as you can see, there are all kinds of Shenanigans you can create for birthday fun using one great sentiment panel and then challenging yourself to use some fun papers that you've been hoarding, oops! I mean saving for the perfect project!

How many birthday cards do you have in your card stash right now? Probably not enough, LOL!

I hope you find some time to get your ink on today :)

August 6

Happy Saturday!

I've got a pretty shaker card for you from Girl Friday Vicki.
She used Ornament Tag with Christmas Sparkle to create a cute vellum shaker ornament.

To dress it up a bit,
she added Linked Fri-Dies under her stamped panel,
and colored in gold embossed mistletoe from
Mistletoe & Holly.

Such loveliness!!!

June 9

Happy Tuesday!

Prepare to have your socks knocked off by Kelly!!
Seriously!!

Today she is sharing a couple of very special scrapbook layouts.
She has this amazing family tradition that she does for each of her cousins,
She has her family members send in their favorite recipes along with photos of themselves,
and then she makes them into a scrapbook!

Here are a couple of pages she did for her cousin's wedding shower...

Isn't it gorgeous?!
She created a beautiful embellishment between the photo and recipe
using Stalk Up, and few flowers from her stash.
If you look closely, you'll see that she also used the fun element
from our Funky Round Tags as a hot pink layer between her flowers.
I'm liking that fussy cut Mwah and thinking that might have to become a die to coordinate with the stamp. *wink*

I love how she laced the binding tape through the Linked Fri-Dies cuts.
Such a wonderful idea for this die!!

I love how she tucked the Heart Note and Double Notes die cuts
all around the photo, and the stamped music from Love Notes
with the sentiment tab makes a great border between for the recipe.

Aren't these fabulous?
And isn't it such a neat idea??
It kind of makes me want to scrapbook some of our family recipes for my kids
and include photos from holidays.

Thanks Kelly for sharing these awesome layouts,
and thanks to your family for a couple of yummy recipes!
