Pretty Posies - You Are Terrific!

Hello all!  Lisa here and I have a quick and simple card for you today!  I love the neutral background with a pop of color in those pretty floral images from Pretty Posies!

I cut two panels from white and kraft, embossed the kraft piece and then trimmed them down to fit on one card and placed a strip over the seam to hide it.  Then I just stamped, die cut and colored those pretty posies.  I used my Misti to stamp one of the sentiments from Pretty Posies onto the white piece and then popped up my flower pieces.  And then I added some of those pretty chipboard hearts from the Coffee Chips Chipboard... perfect with the kraft paper just the way they are!  Easy peasy.. done!

I just love these pretty posies and love that this set makes it so easy to make a quick and pretty card.

Just Because!!

Hello Crafty Friends!! 

Larissa here today to share a FUN Dry Embossed and Stenciled Just Because Card using the NEW Bold Flowers Stencil!! 

I started by spraying the back of my Stencil with Pixie Spray and then adhering it to the Card Panel and then I placed it onto my Rubber Mat and Ran it through my Die Cutting Machine in order to Dry Embossed the Stenciled Design into the Card Panel!! Once it was Dry Embossed I Inked the Panel using Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink for the Background, Milled Lavender and Spun Sugar for the main Flowers and Mustard Seed for the center of the Flowers using Distress Oxide Inks and Ink Daubers!! 

Then I replaced the Stenciled over the Card Panel making sure to line up the Dry Embossed Design and Inked with Wilted Violet, Picked Raspberry and Dried Marigold Distress Oxide Inks and Ink Daubers!! I like that you can add dimension to the Flowers using the Stencil even though I embossed the Design!! 

Then I removed the Stencil and added some Water Splatters and some Wilted Violet, Spun Sugar and Black Soot Distress Paint Splatters to add even more Dimension!! I Stamped and Embossed the Just Because Sentiment from the NEW Terrific Flower Stamp Set onto a Die Cut Circle using Versa Fine Black Onyx Ink and WoW Clear Gloss Embossing Powder!! Then Inked it with some Milled Lavender Distress Oxide Ink and backed it with a larger Circle Die Cut that I Inked with Wilted Violet so it would POP off the Card Panel!! I adhered it to the Card Panel using Foam Tap and added some TE Drip Drop Iridescent Embellishments to finish off the Card Design!! I LOVE how it turned and the possibilities are ENDLESS with the technique!! You can simply change out the Sentiment to fit the Card that you need for the Occasion!!
