Mini Slimline Card using the Pinked Slimline Dies

Hello everyone, it’s Michelle here today sharing a mini Slimline card I made using the Pinked Slimline dies.   You don’t necessarily have to make a tall slimline card with these dies and I show you how below.

I started with a piece of card stock measuring 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 and die cut using the pinked die.  I placed it right along the top as you can see below.

Then I placed it back in the die, lining it up so the straight edge only will cut.
No need to run the whole piece through, just the top bit.

And here’s a photo of the finished piece.
I did the same with the next layer but shortened the length slightly.

I made a balloon stencil using the round die and sponged some Catherine Pooler inks to make three balloons. I used a ruler to draw a line for the strings.  I die cut the hooray from the Hooray dies in pink and black and adhered them together offsetting them slightly to give a shadow effect.  I stamped the sentiment from the Sassy Celebration stamp set.

I hope I have inspired you to make some mini slimline cards and if you hop over to the shop you will find all the dies I’ve used today on sale!

Celebrate Slimline Card!!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!
Today I've created a Slimline Card using the
NEW Pinked Slimline Fri-Die Set!! SWOON!! I LOVE ALL of the possibilities with this Set alone, but add it along with a Die and a Stamp Set and you have a whole new set of possibilities!!

I Started by creating my Embossed Cardstock in order to create my Die Cut Word "Celebrate" which is the Focal point of my Card!! I added the WoW Embossing Ink to the Cardstock and then added the WoW Embossing Provincal Powder to the Cardstock!! I Heat Set it to the Cardstock from the bottom side of the Cardstock using the WoW Dual Speed Heat Tool!! Then I Die Cut the NEW Hooray Fri-Dies from the Embossed Cardstock using the Celebrate Word!! I wanted a thicker Word so I Die Cut it 3 more times from some Kraft Cardstcok and stocked them all together to create a 3D Dimensional Sentiment!!
Next I Die Cut the Slimline Stitched Rectangle Die from some White Cardstock and then I Stamped and Embossed the "Oh How I Love You" Sentiment from the Ever After Stamp Set with Versa Fine Black Onyx Ink and Embossed with WoW Clear Gloss Embossing Powder!! I Heat Set it with my WoW Dual Speed Heat Embossing Tool!! Next I inked the Background with some Peacock Feathers & Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink using an Ink Blender Brush!! Then I added some Black Soot Distress Paint Splatters and some Midas Touch Shimmer Pen Splatters!!

I Die Cut 3 of the Stars from the Embossed Cardstock I created using the Star Die from the NEW Pinked Slimline Fri-Die Set!! Added them to the Card Panel using some Ultra Bond Adhesive!! Then I added a 3-D Iridescent Star Jewel from Studio Katia to the center of the Die Cut Stars using Ultra Bond Adhesive!! Iridescent Star Confetti were added too for even more Sparkle!! I LOVE the way the Colors Dance in the light on the Card!!
I Die Cut the Slimline Pinked Die from some Gingham Patterned Paper and then added the Card Panel to it adhering the entire Panel to a White Slimline Cardbase!! I've paired my Card with a SSS Black Slimline Envelope!!
I hope I've INSPIRED you today!!??

Celebrate with the Bold Flower Stencil

Hello, it's Michelle here today with a Celebration card.
Any time is a good time to celebrate in my opinion and I try to celebrate the small things in life!
Any excuse in my opinion!!

I've used the Bold Flower Stencil and the Celebrate from the  Hooray Dies on my card today.
I started by stenciling the flowers with Catherine Pooler inks in Something Borrowed, Suede Shoes and Juniper Mist.    I added some glitter to the petals with a glue pen.  Then I die cut the Celebrate using some blue glitter card stock.  It's so sparkly in real life!  I adhered the panel using some foam tape to a top folding card base.

Here's a close up of all the sparkle!

I hope I have inspired you to make a celebratory card and don't forget you can use my special discount code below in the shop.

Hooray let’s Celebrate!

Hello everyone, it's Michelle here today with a couple of cards I made using the "Sassy Celebration" stamp set and the "Hooray" Dies.

I live in the State of Victoria in Australia where we have just come out of lock down after nearly 4 months!  We have had good news and zero new cases of Covid in the last few days so I thought these cards were appropriate!  Lets just hope we keep it that way and I can't wait to celebrate with my friends.

For my first card I started by ink blending some Catherine Pooler Inks onto some white card stock.  Then I stenciled over the top with the same color of ink using the "Modern Petals" stencil.
I die cut the Hooray three times and adhered them all together.  The top layer is embossed with glitter embossing powder. I stamped the sentiment in black and adhered the die cut on top, offsetting it slightly so it looks like a shadow.  I added some 4 petals die cuts, matted the panel onto some black card stock and adhered it to a top folding card with foam tape.

For my next card I sponged some Catherine Pooler inks onto a piece of white card stock then placed the "Bold Trellis" stencil over the top and wiped it with a wet baby wipe to take some of the ink away.  I love the look this gives.

I hope you like my cards and I have inspired you to get crafty!
