Decisions... Decisions...

So what's it gonna be??  Naughty or Nice?  I think it's up in the air for me this year.

I love this fun stamp and die set from the shop.  I decided to try to make a kind of a plaid background on my slimline using the Stars and Stripes stencil:

I started by placing red stripes down the length of the slimline.  I masked off the stars so I didn't have to be quite so careful and did two lines at a time, laying the first line on the stencil over the last line I had already inked.  This went pretty quickly and I've got some more ideas for this stencil!

I decided to do the horizontal lines in black.  I knew I was going to be layering over the panel so I only worried about the two ends in the center.  I went the length of the slimline by inking as far as the stencil would go and then sliding it over and lining it up again to do the rest.  Again, lots more ideas for this one!

After my lines were done I added some gold stars using Decofoil Metallix to the corners and set it aside to dry.

As you can see, by the time I got my other layers on you really couldn't see the plaid pattern or much of the stars...lol!  But I do love the little bit peeking out.

I cut the Naughty or Nice word dies three times.. once from black glitter paper and twice more from cardstock and stacked and adhered them together for dimension.  Then I cut the circles from the Pinked Slimline set in red and adhered them to a white slimline panel in a random pattern for some fun on the front.  I adhered the word die cut over the top leaving room for one of the sassy sentiments from the Naughty or Nice stamp set.

Just a few sequins and done!

Merry Christmas!  Happy Holidays!  Whatever you are celebrating this Holiday Season I'm wishing you Peace and Love whether you've decided to be Naughty or Nice!

Here's a little treat for you:

Thanks so much for stopping and come again soon!

Naughty'isms

Hello, it's Michelle here today from Seashell Creations with a Christmas card.
I've been on a roll lately with Christmas cards so this year I hope to be on top of sending them out in time!
Have you started yours yet?

I've used the Naughty'isms stamp set along with the Naughty Fri-Dies.
I die cut the sentiment in white and black card stock and glued them together for a bit of dimension.
I stamped the stockings, coloured them in and die cut them.  I adhered all my pieces to a white card panel and then stamped the "at least you made the list" sentiment along the bottom.  There are so many fun sentiments to add!  I love "naughty is the new nice"!!

Now who will I send this card to!!

Here's the stamp sets and Fri-Dies that I used and I have linked them in the description above.
Don't forget to use my discount code to save 15% in the shop. (MICHELLESENTME)

Thanks for visiting, now I'm off to finish packing for my little trip to Fiji.

Merry Christmas Hanging Stockings!!

Hello Crafty Friends!!
Larissa here today to share a Simple and Elegant Christmas Card, that would be PERFECT for mass producing!!
I started with some Patterned Paper from Carta Bella Christmas 6x6 Paper Pad!! I added some Picket Fence Distress Paint Splatters to resemble Snowflakes Falling!! Then I Die Cut the Merry Christmas Sentiment using the NEW Merry Christmas Fri-Dies!! I Cut 3 Die Cuts from White Cardstock and then Die Cut the Top Layer from some Therm O Web Deco Foil Toned Sheets that I had Foiled using some Gold Ore Deco Foil!! I LOVE the look of Foiled Sentiments especially during the Holidays and its SO EASY to do with the Toner Sheets!! I used one of the Negative Pieces as my template to glue all of the layers together!! Then adhered the Words onto my Card Front using the Negative as my guide to get exact placement!!
I wanted to Hang some Stockings from the Christmas Word so I Stamped and Embossed the Stocking Images from NEW Naught'isms Stamp Set 3 times!! Then I used Copic Markers to Color them in!! (N2 for the White areas, R43, R46 & R89 for the Red area and YG97 and YG99 for the Green area) I Die Cut them out using the coordinating Naughty Fri-Dies!! I added some Tonic Studios Blizzard Glitter Nuvo Drops to the White Areas and let it Dry over night!! Then I added some Gold Thread to the Stockings using a Needle to poke through the Patterned Paper and making them appear to be Hanging from the Christmas Word by the Gold Thread!! I added some 3D Foam Square to the back of the Stockings to make them POP up off the Card Front!!

THANKS SO MUCH for stopping by and I hope you have a FABULOUS WEEKEND!!
