Happy Tuesday!!

I absolutely adore Jeanne's colorful style. Check out this delightful card she stamped!

She stamped Modern Petals a few times in 4 different colors.
What a fabulous background that made!!
Then, she stamped a second background panel with Wallflower and added a sentiment from the same set. It looks really sweet nestled inside Funky Square Tags.
Did you notice how she hung that tag? She used Lovely Links Fri-Dies and added Nuvo drops to create enamel dots.

If you'd like to add Wallflower to your collection, you better hurry! It is one of the 19 sets that is retiring. They are all specially priced in the Retiring category, but once they are gone...they are gone forever. These retiring sets will not be re-ordered.

I hope you find some time to get your ink on today :)

August 31

Happy Monday!
Can you believe it's the last day of August already??
Where is the time going?

I'm so happy to report that
Jingle
will be staying on as a Girl Friday!
Woot Woot!!

Here are few words from the talented Jingle:
I created a patterned background with the stamps in Apricot, Thistle, and Stone and then stamped a simple sentiment to take center stage. The white panel is layered over some fabulous orange bling cardstock that sparkles delightfully! The medium grey base serves as the foundation for these beautiful color tones.

Wallflower and Love Notes!
Yes!
I love these together!!

Have a wonderful week!!

August 4

Happy Tuesday!

Prepare to be amazed!
Girl Friday Deepti is in the house
with 2 completely phenomenal cards.
She used a whole lotta stamps on these so we'll list them all at the end of the post.

Wow! right?!
Just take a minute to look at it, cuz it's really fun to look at!
It's spectacular!

Deepti took the time to jot down some notes on how she put this clever and oh so cool card together.

  • I took a panel of white card stock slightly smaller than the width of the card base.
  • I used a compass and a scale to mark the circles of differing radius and radial lines intersecting them.
  • Next I used these circles and lines as guidelines to place the sentiment stamps in circular fashion and stamp them
  • I stamped the whole panel likewise and added some stars and dots for more interest.
  • I added an inked die cut heart as the focal point
  • Finally I adhered a patterned paper panel on card base and laid the stamped panel over it with some foam adhesive

How pretty and cool is this?!
I love the way the colors move through the design.

here are some notes from Deepti on how she did this...

  • I did some simple stamping of the sentiments in monotones like black and grey
  • and to add interest into the design, I stamped the single sentiment in Neon inks.
  • I added Neon inks one after the other on the stamp, overlapping them on each other and then stamping the sentiment on the card base
  • I did the same for the pattern stamp images.
  • To finish the card I added some patterned paper and adhered the stamped panel with some foam dots.

November Sneak Peek Week Day 2

We're back!
It's Day 2 of our November Sneak Peek Week!!

A few months ago I released a Christmas Set
that has a very pretty flower in it, called Christmas Carols.
Then I created a darling 4 Petal Fri-Die to coordinate with it.
That flower is so pretty, and I like it so much,
that I decided to do a companion set that you can
certainly coordinate with Christmas Carols, but
can also use
year 'round!

Introducing...
Wallflower

I hope you likey!
We'll be getting the pinterest boards set up for the new sets soon.
Which board is your favorite so far?

The Ink Squad and I will be back tomorrow with 1 more very cool set for your
oohing and aahing delight.
