9th Birthday Celebrations!

Hello, it’s Michelle here today and I have a special birthday card to share with you!

CAS-ual Fridays is 9 years old!

Can you believe that!!  Let's pop the champagne to celebrate.

For my card today I have used the Champagne Flute Die along with the Birthday Dies and the Happy Birthday stamps.

I started by die cutting the champagne flute out using an alcohol inked piece I had in my stash.

I stamped the Happy Birthday sentiment onto a card panel and adhered the champagne flute over the top with liquid glue.

I die cut the Happy Birthday sentiment in black card stock and adhered that over the top of the stamped sentiment so it was showing on top of the glass.

I saved the little dots from the die cut bubbles and adhered them randomly.

Thanks for visiting and I hope I have inspired you to make a celebratory birthday card and be sure to come back to see what the rest of the Design Team have for you!

Word Die Shaker Card

Hello friends, it's Michelle here from Seashell Creations with a fun shaker card to share with you.

I started by die cutting the Birthday dies making sure to center it on my card panel.  Then on another piece of card stock I stamped Happy Birthday using three different colors of Catherine Pooler inks for an ombre effect.

I added some foam tape to the back of my die cut piece making sure to enclose the area where I wanted my sequins.

Then I carefully lined it up with the stamped image and adhered it.

I felt like it needed something else so I pulled out the circle die from the Pinked Slimline dies.  I blended the same blue ink colors and die cut the circle for a balloon.

I cut a tiny triangle and glued it to the circle to make it look more like a balloon and added some silver twine.

I adhered the balloon to the top of  my card with some foam tape and added a few clear sequins.
I hope you like my card and I have inspired you to make a shaker card.

Happy Birthday

Hi All, it's Vicki here today from All I Do Is Stamp.

For today's card, I used a lot of CAS-ual Fridays products to make this rather CAS card.

I started by WOW embossing [Neutral Ultra Shimmer Embossing Glitter] the Full on Floral image onto a panel of white card stock.  Using [most] of the Catherine Pooler Carnival Inks, I sponged on color.  Once that was done, I used a couple of the dies from the Pinked Slimline Dies set, to cut out the pinked circle, and smaller circles.

I stamped and cut the small the dragonfly from Everyday Dragonflies stamps [with matching dies], and just colored the heart body with red ink.  [I think the black and white pops against the colorful background, so I left that alone.]  For the last step, I cut 2 white, and 1 mint layer of the Happy Birthday Die, glued the layers together, and adhered it to the card base. Once completed, I felt the top looked too empty, so I used some twine for the added bow.  End result, a fun, colorful birthday card for my stash.

I hope you enjoyed my card for today.  Remember, if you use my code [below], you can save 15% off your CAS-ual Fridays purchase.
