Just a Little Card to Brighten Your Day

Happy Sunday!! I cannot believe it is MAY!!

It is Nora here from A Creative Touch with a card showcasing some of the newer products in the store.

I started off this festive card by stamping the flowers and leaves from the new Flower Duo set in Copic friendly ink. I then colored the flowers in with Copic markers.

Next, I die cut the flowers and leaves out with the the matching dies that come with the stamps in the Flower Duo set. I set them aside and created a 

stenciled background.

I used the Bubbly Stencil with pink and white ink for my festive background. I then stamped a sentiment from the Flower Duo set onto the front of the panel. I have to fess up-I actually was not going to add a white banner as part of the sentiment design but I stamped it upside down and did not want to do it over!!

I adhered my background on to a white, A2, top folding card base. I added some silver twine in the middle of the card. I adhered my colored flowers over the thread, using foam adhesive on the smaller flowers.

I adhered the white sentiment strip using some foam adhesive under the stamped sentiment. I then used a clear sparkle pen over the flowers and the leaves.

My last step was to adhere some sequins randomly around the card front and my card was complete.
