Hello Cas-ual Fridays fans! Maria on the blog again with a super CAS Valentine's Day card, showcasing the Love Notes stamp set and the Heart Note Fri-Die.
Valentine's Day is fast approaching and I want to get my cards done (and mailed) a few days before the occasion (here's hoping it reaches the recipient before the actual day!).
The card I made is super simple. I cut an A2 size Neenah solar white card stock and used my embossing Sizzix 3D embossing folder to dry emboss the card.
I die-cut the Heart Note Fri-Die in different shades of pink and red (should I call this color fifty shades of pink? haha!). I adhered and layered the heart notes together using liquid glue. I foam-mounted this piece on my embossed background.
I added some glossy accents to the red heart for more texture and dimension. Since you can't see the gloss on the main photo, here's a little close-up:
I stamped the sentiment on some black strip. I sprinkled some embossing powder and heat-set using my Wagner heating tool. I adhered the sentiment on the card with some liquid adhesive. Here's the card:
