Merry Christmas!

Hi all it's Vicki here today.  This month I will only have 1 CFS post.  However, there will be a fabulous release at the end of the month!  So, you can look forward to that :).

Meanwhile, I actually "saw" my idea for today's card!  [By that I mean in my mind - that doesn't happen often, and when it does I am thrilled. Usually, I need to physically see to be inspired].

I am starting with my Christmas cards.  We all know how fast time flies, and I don't want the "pressure" to get my cards completed.  I bet you can relate, right?

I really am happy with this card!  I started out by stamping the snowflakes from Bring on the Snowflakes with versamark ink, and using the [now in the store!] WOW Metallic Silver Sparkle Embossing Powder, I heat embossed the images on a card panel.  Then using a shade darker ink, I stamped the snowflakes from Merry.  I then cut out the framing, and turned it into a shaker card!

See the tiny snowflakes within the shaker stuff? Those are the Jacks Chipboards that I embossed with the Opaque Bright White Superfine  Embossing Powder.  A fun addition to the sequins I also added.  Once all that was put together, I die cut the Merry Christmas Fri-Die 3 times - once in black for shading, and embossed with the WOW Metallic Super Fine Silver Embossing Powder.  I also used one of the larger Jacks, and also embossed that with the same powder.

While I won't be mass producing this card, it will go to a special person :).  How about you?  Have you started your Christmas cards yet?

See you at the end of this month~

Merry! Merry!

Hi All, it's Vicki here today, from All I Do Is Stamp.  Today, I have a Christmas card for you, along with a written tutorial.

First off, here is the finished card.

For the background, I started with a card panel and stamped ALL the snowflakes from Bring on the Snowflakes using my MISTI, and Versamark.  Once stamped, I brushed on gold Perfect Pearls.

I made a SVG cut for the Merry Christmas [using my Silhouette], stamped it also with Versamark, and then I embossed with gold embossing powder.  I cut out a couple of snowflakes from Funky Flakes Fri-die and adhered those over the stamped image.  Once done, I trimmed off a ½" of the panel, and adhered it to the card base after I placed a gold glittered strip down the side.

That's it for today.  Don't forget, you can save 15% off any store purchase by using my code;

Thanks for stopping by~

Kraft and twine

"Brown paper packages tied up with string, these are a few of my favorite things"
Today's card from Maureen makes me think of this line from that song!

She used a white card base and added a stamped kraft panel then added twine. So home-y and package-y and favorite things-y!
She used the sweet little Merry stamp set that is on sale for just $6.49!!
It has that big sweet sentiment with the delightful snowflakes.
Then she added a little heart from our Peace Love & Coffee set that is just $5!!
