A Spooky World Card Making Day

It happens once a year and the it's the day all Card Makers wait for...World Card Making Day!

It's a day that unites us as we all gather in our crafty spaces and let the ink, glitter and adhesive fly.

I've got a really fun WCMD post for you today :)

In honor of this momentous occasion, I actually dusted off my inks and got inky with a brand new set hitting the shop today!

Now please don't judge...I am a MUCH better stamp designer than I am card designer. I usually leave the card creativity to the Ink Squad but this set was really last minute and they are probably receiving their sets today. Ok, here goes!

These little spiders are so cute! They are perfect to add googly eyes. I stamped them first in bright colored ink using my MISTI, then stamped them again using WOW embossing ink, added the Glow In the Dark powder, heat set it, then put it under a light to charge up the glow while I searched my house for a dark place to see if it worked...It worked!!  Imagine how much fun it will be to create fun cards with this fun powder, even beyond Halloween! I'm thinking birthday cards could be super fun :)

Don't laugh at my coloring skills, haha, ok you can laugh! I mostly stayed in the lines but you know what? It doesn't matter because I had fun!
