Hey lovelies, Tracy here with you today, I hope you are having a great day ?
Today I am sharing a card I created using some left over Alcohol Ink card scraps and the beautiful Peaceful Garden Stamp & Die set.
I love working with Alcohol Inks and tend to create one large sheet of inked card at a time so often end up with left over sections. The Peaceful Garden Die set is one of those awesome die sets that you can use in so many ways, including die cutting scraps.
To start off with this card I die cut all the elements out, I also used the larger leaf die and die cut some vellum just to add a different texture to the card. I love these dies with the little sections kept in, but obviously this is personal taste.
Once I arranged them on the card and knew where i wanted them I used the thinking of you sentiment from Peaceful Garden Stamp and stamped it using black ink.
I had planned to add some black splatter, but decided to die it in with the alcohol inked flowers and go with gold. For this I used my Spectrum Noir Gold Sparkle pen, this adds some gold glitter as well as that gold tone.
Once that was all dry I adhered all the arrangement onto the card, some areas I adhered flat, others I used Glue Dots for a bit of depth.
I then adhered this panel to a white A2 top folding note card to finish off.
I'm really happy with how this turns out and if there is one CAS-ual Friday Die set I could recommend it is this one for just how beautiful, and versatile it is.
Thank you so much for stopping by today, I hope you have an awesome day.
