Simple Halloween Card with the Spooky Stamp Set

Hello my crafty friends!  I hope you are all doing well.  Halloween is almost upon us and I wanted to create a simple card today showcasing the Spooky stamp set, along with the Pinked Slimline Dies.

I started by die-cutting some Bristol smooth white card stock using the second of the largest die from the Pinked Slimline die set.  I inked up this panel with Spiced Marmalade, Wilted Violet, Salty Ocean, Faded Jeans and Black Soot distress oxide inks.

I splattered some black watercolor on the panel and picked up the excess with my paper towel.

Next, I stamped the sentiment "spooky" with some Versamark ink and sprinkled some white embossing powder, then heat-set using my Wagner heating tool.   I did the same steps for the spider webs and spiders to make them stand out.

I die-cut some black card stock using the biggest die from the Pinked Slimline die set and to mat my colored panel and adhered both pieces on a slimline card base.  Easy Peasy!

Before I end this post, y'all need to check out the clearance at the shop!  Michel is making room for new stamps & dies and the ones that are on sale are pretty awesome! Grab them before they sell out!

You can also use my coupon code below, for an additional 15% off your order.  That's a win, win in my book!

I hope you like my card today!  Thanks so much for stopping by!
