You ROCK!!!

Happy Sunday everyone!! Nora from A Creative Touch on the blog with you today with a card using the soon to be retired stamp set Flower Power, combine with Love Notes for a retro inspired card.

My jumping off for the while design was the "rock" sentiment. I wanted to give it a 1960's vibe. This year is the 50th Anniversary of Woodstock so used this era for colors and a bit of drama.

I started off this card by stamping an A2, top folding card base with black music notes from the Love Notes stamp set. I masked and stamped the "you" sentiment from the same stamp set and set it aside.

I then layered a rainbow strip that I had created using a mask and Distress Inks. I stamped and hand cut out the letters from Flower Power, popping them up over the rainbow panel. I used a combination of gel pens and markers to color in some of the flowers in the letters.

To finish off the card, I added the "you" above the "rock" sentiment, popping it up with foam adhesive.

This card was a lot of fun to make and will be sending this out to a teen.

This "Flower Power" stamp set and a ton of others are being retired and are in the SALE section of the CAS-ual Fridays Stamp Store. Use my code NORASENTME to get an extra 15% off the sale price!!!

Once these sets are gone, they will no longer be available!!!

I thank you for taking the time to stop by. Until next time.....
