One Stenciled Panel, Three Cards

Hello everyone!! Nora here from A Creative Touch with three cards that I created from one stenciled panel.

Stamps: Be
Fri-Dies: Garden and 4 Petals
Stencil-Curtis

I started these cards by making a stenciled panel using Distress Ink, a Gel Plate and the CAS-ual Fridays Curtis stencil. You do not need the gel plate but could use a piece of clear acrylic but since I had one, I chose to use it.

I did a reverse stencil technique where I stenciled onto the gel plate, sprayed it with water, then dipped my white panel into it and dried it with a heat gun. I then spritzed the stencil with water and dipped the paper onto the stencil, sopping up the mixed color.

While the panel was drying, I die cut flowers out of paper scraps using the 4 Petals Fri-Dies, and used the stem from the Garden die set to cut out some vellum leaves.

Next I stamped a sentiment from the Be stamp set in black onto my stenciled paper three times and then cut the sentiments into two rectangles and a square. I was originally only going to do two cards but I was able to make three by cutting the third sentiment box into a smaller shape.

For my first card, I just adhered the sentiment rectangle onto a sunny yellow, A2, top folding card front. I then arranged the flowers and the vellum leaves around it, using some white Nuvo drops for the flower centers.

For my second card, I designed it the same as the first but used a black piece of paper behind the sentiment rectangle to ground the card a bit.

On my third card, I did a bit of ink blending on the A2 card front, stepping up the card a bit further. I then adhered everything onto the card like the second card. However, instead of white Nuvo drops, I decided to use a combination of yellow and orange for the flower centers.

I thank you for stopping by today. I hope this inspires you try my stencil technique. Use my code NORASENTME to get an extra 15% off at the CAS-ual Fridays Stamps Store!!
