Hi everyone! Its Shona here today, sharing with you one of the hardest types of cards I have to make. I recently needed a sympathy card for a friend and of course I had none already made as I struggle to create them. I get very upset coming up with the design and can't stop thinking about the person when putting it together. I need to send the card but the process is extremely hard. And I'm thinking I'm not the only one who finds this.....
So I decided to find a design that I liked and could create a few of at a time so I can send one out asap if the need arises:
I always like to use the colour blue on a sympathy card, not have many bright colours or have anything too busy. I want it to be simply telling that person how sorry I am for their loss.
The Casual Comfort Stamp set is an older set but its simplicity is timeless. The images and sentiments are perfect for so many occasions, definitely one for everyone's craft stash.
For all the details on how I put this card together and what I used for the 'splatter effect' etc, pop over to my blog.
Thanks so much for stopping by and I'll see you back here again very soon!!
