August 26

Happy Tuesday!

Today is going to be RAD.
Totally RAD!!

Girl Friday Angie has created a fun set of cards using Rad
and I think you are going to LOVE it!!

Here's Angie to tell you how easy it is to make a fun set like this one...

Make your own pre-made "sentiment strips" using washi tape and CAS-ual Fridays stamps!  CFS has so many sentiments that fit perfectly into these little strips, you won't ever need to go buy any! Make a bunch and have them ready when you need one for a quick card!

I made a chipboard template 1/2" x 3" and punched one end with my Crop-a-dile, that way both ends match. Then cut your 1/2" x 3" cardstock "sentiment strips" and wrap the ends with washi tape. Punch a partial hole in the end using your chipboard template, and that's it! If you want, use a nail file to sand the punched opening lightly for a softer, more "scooped out" (the technical term) look.
Another tip: make a 3" x 3" gift enclosure card that fits into a 3 1/8" square envelope. These are perfect for tucking into a gift bag or box. You know there are times when giving a card you think, "Are they just going to throw this card away?" If you think they will, you don't want to part with a really "good" one! Don't deny it! haha!
These small cards are perfect for those occasions, and with a versatile stamp set like Rad, you can have them ready to go and customize the inside with whatever you need at the time. I designed these cards to work for happy birthday, congratulations, thank you, and new baby.

I love the fun look of these, don't you?!
I hope you have fun making some of these for your card stash.
