May Sneak Peek Week Day 2

Welcome back to Day 2 of Sneak Peek Week!

As you know, we have
5 fabulous sets debuting this week that we are
really excited about!!
All 4 x 6 and available on
May17th!

Today's set was designed with Dads and Grads in mind,
but of course is still versatile enough to work all year long.
Introducing...
Brickworks

Brick Works
Lynn has created a super cool grad card.
That little bag stamped with the bricks makes an awesome gift card holder!
I just love all her fun embellishments too!

congrats
Michelle has taken this in a feminine direction which is great because guess what?
Girls graduate too!  I love the the fun pattern she created by stamping the bricks a few times,
and then stamping her sentiment directly over.

Dana-CFS-Dad

Oh! I love how Dana stamped the solid brick pattern in such a way that she left a hole in her wall!  Perfect spot for the sentiment and it makes such a wonderful focal point!

Dana-CFS-Bricks
This is a really awesome grad card!  Check out how she stamped the open zig zag bricks,
and then stamped the solid version right over.  The solid bricks are just a tad wider than the open bricks so you get a really great shadowy effect.
Her little bit of rolled up paper to create the diploma is a fabulous embellishment :)

YellowBrick
Karen also used the solid and open bricks together.
Iike how she left some space between her brick strips, and how she stamped them on an angle.  Such a great visual effect!

Brickworks
I love the way Virginia color blocked her panel,
and continued the look with her bricks!
So masculine and cool!

IMG_9709
I love Laurie's distressed bricks!
Oh that looks so awesome and adds so much to the card!!
What a great Dad's day card!

Brickworks Pennants
Kelly stamped her bricks in a really fun way too!  I love the way she sprinkled her sentiments in to the opening, and the little flags tucked in are just darling

Brickworks Watercolor
This one made me swoon.
I love the splatterd ink.
I love the arrangement of the sentiments (don't they stack together well?!)
I love that she added a stamp from the Rad set too.
I just love it!

dad
Wowzers! Piali has created such a fun card!
She too used stamps from Rad-don't you just love it when previously released sets coordinate well the new ones? *grin*
I love the fun colors and the great way she arranged her sentiments.

So what do you think??
Could you have some fun with this one?
Would you like a chance to win a fun prize?

I'm giving away a free stamp set from each sneak peek day
to a random comment.

  2. I really like this pairing of brick elements with graduation and fathers - excellent! I honestly prefer online mediums to look at cards for inspiration - company blogs, crafter's blogs, splitcoaststampers.com, etc., but when I do reach for a crafty mag it is usually Papercrafts, I like their selection and tips - Cards is too expensive ($20!!) Thanks for a chance to win this cool new set!
