May Sneak Peek Week Day 1

Welcome to Day 1 of CAS-ual Fridays Stamps
May
Sneak Peek Week!!

I'm so glad you're here to join the party!
We have 5 really fun sets debuting this month!

The Girl Friday Ink Squad will bring you inspiration from a new set each day this week.
They are all 4 x 6, packed with fun
and will be available on May 17th!

Our first set of the week is one that you will have lots of fun with,
and the Girl Friday Ink Squad did an amazing job with this set!!
It was inspired by my love for a certain movie that I'm sure you'll be able to guess,
and it was my hubby's idea to create a set centered around the iconic phrase.
(he wants credit for this one *smile*)
Introducing...
Frankly

Laurie has created a very pretty card.
I love the softness of the ink color she chose for that big bold sentiment.

Frankly Art Deco Pattern
Kelly has created a stunning art deco pattern by stamping the big graphic bloom multiple times.
I can't wait to try this!

Frankly 3D Flower
Look at this big cool flower she created using the same stamp!
Very cool!!

Frankly Flower
Can you tell she had fun with this set?
Look at this beautiful pattern she created with just a couple ink colors.
I think the sentiment stamped over her pretty image looks awesome!

Frankly My Dear
I love the bit of texture that Lynn added with the burlap.
She too created a lovely pattern with those soft neutrals.
Gorgeous!

Frankly
I love the way Piali positioned her sentiment panel.
That little bit of floral paper peeking from the opposite corner is darling!
It all works perfectly with the happy sentiment, doesn't it?

RedPoppies
Karen has a real stunner here.
That big bloom stamped simply with her hand drawn stems is simply fabulous.
A set of these would make such a lovely gift, wouldn't it?

Frankly #1
Virginia had some fun creating a gorgeous pattern of her own!
I love that she left a bit of room in the center for her sentiment.
Beautifully done!

Frankly #2
Sequins, water colory splatters and gold embossing...be still my heart!
I love this!!

What a fun way to start this week!
Would a prize make it even more fun?
I think so!!
I'll be giving away a free stamp set from each sneak peek day
to a random comment.

All you have to do is leave a comment right here on this post
answering the following question...
There are so many choices out there when it comes to ink pads, which is your favorite?

I'll announce all the winners on Friday :)

We'll be back tomorrow with another exciting set to show you.
Same time, same place!

  2. Oooh - was so bedazzled by the cards I forgot to answer the question ... I have to have a mix of inks : versafine for clean crisp sentiments, distress inks for sponging and techniques, Hero Arts for their wonderful smooth colours, Versacolour for embossing and techniques, colorbox (because they were my first - lots of lovely colours), Memento black for using copics!

  3. I so love this sentiment, hubby well done!
I like memento ink pads but probably because I am used to these!

  4. Love this "Frankly my dear"! Like Janet I have to have a mix of inks. I prefer the versafine for stamping fine details. I love the distress and the Memento inks for sponging.

  5. Be still my heart. Frankly My Dear is fab! I, too, use a variety of inks: Versafine for crisp stamping, Momento for Copics, Distress for distressing - duh - and Hero Arts & Amuse when I want great colors.

  8. Very fun, "Frankly my dear"! I am actually looking for some different ink pads. I have only ever used SU! and would love to try out different ones. I have also just purchased some Dye ink from Papertrey and so far so good. I will be back to read what others use and like.

  9. I'm loving chalk inks right now.

  10. I am torn between SU and Memento... would probably go with SU because I LOVE how their inks coordinate with their papers and embellishments, making matching a no-brainer, but their basic black stinks and I use Memento Tuxedo black exclusively for my Copic coloring. Love the decorative elements in this set and the versatility in how your DT used the images and sentiments!
