November 21

It's the day before Thanksgiving here in the US.
Grocery stores are full of shoppers,
kitchens are being prepared for a day of cooking,
families are traveling near and far to stuff their bellies with yumminess,
and lots of shoppers are gearing up for Black Friday deals.

Black Friday...bleeecchhh!
I don't do Black Friday.
I know, you probably thought I'd never met a Friday that I didn't love *wink*
Maybe it's all my years spent in retail, maybe it's that I just can't stand crowds...at all,
or maybe it's that I just can't transition from a day of feeling thankful to a day where people trample each other in a frenzy of "give me".
It's just not my thing.
So...we're gonna do things here at CAS-ual Fridays Stamps just a little bit different this Black Friday.

Before we get to that, let's see some pretties!
Girl Friday Dana played with Merry Kiss-mas and she has a couple of lovelies to share today :)

This happy card is simply perfect! The white embossed sentiment, the pretty text border paired with a happy scallop edge, all add to the loveliness of her beautifully stamped mistletoe. Careful inking and a white gel pen helped to make it stunning.

Swoon!!
Oh my gosh, these are sooooo cute!  Fun shaped tags are made fabulous by her stamping!
I love the fun ways she made each little holly jolly sentiment stand out, and the fun way she stamped the texty border.

Tomorrow's Thanksgiving post will bring a little gift for you...
Dana has prepared a wonderful tutorial on her amazing champagne bottle card that so many of you raved about. You'll get a step by step photo lesson so you too can re-create that fabulous look.
And, I'll share the details on how we'll be doing Black Friday in the store :)
Many of you have already participated!
Huh?
How's that possible, you ask?
Are you intrigued?
*big grin*
Good, see ya just after midnight ;)

  6. Great card and I just LOVE those tags! I'm not a big fan of black Friday either - I consider myself far too civilized to participate in a stampede to get a good deal!

  7. What a great Christmas set you've released! So fresh-looking, and lots of room to make your own. Michele, I wanted to thank you so much for your words of sympathy on my blog last week. They really mean a lot to me!
